SENIOR SEASON (2024-25)
Concluded her LSU tenure with her best season, behind 20 overall singles wins and three ranked victories…Earned four victories in the fall campaign, fighting to the quarterfinal at the ITA Southern Regional Championships… Picked up victories on the No. 2, 3, 4, and 5 courts, highlighted by nine wins on the fourth spot in the dual season…Held a five-match winning streak from March 14 to April 4…Notable victories came against South Carolina’s Bella Larsson on March 16, 6-3, 5-7, 7-5, to set the stage for LSU’s 4-3 comeback victory over the Gamecocks…Earned results against individuals from the top two teams in the country: Georgia’s then-No. 82 Guillermina Grant, 7-6(6), 6-1, and Texas A&M’s then-No. 80 Daria Smetannikov, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4…Concluded the season ranked No. 118 according to the ITA…Was a force in doubles with partner Tilwith Di Girolami, concluding the season with a 12-5 overall record with three ranked victories, finishing the season with an ITA ranking of No. 37…The duo held nine wins on the No. 2 court to go with a 3-0 record on the top spot…In their highest-ranked victory of the season, the pairing earned a 6-2 victory over UCLA’s then-No.3 Kate Fakih and Olivia Center to clinch the doubles point in LSU’s eventual 4-2 result at the ITA National Indoor Championships on Feb. 8…The pair held a six-match winning streak from Feb. 8 to March 2… Also teamed with Kenna Erickson for seven overall wins and a 4-1 mark in the dual campaign behind one ranked victory on March 28 over Vanderbilt’s then-No. 14 Celia-Belle Mohr and Sophia Webster, 6-3…Concluded the season with an ITA doubles ranking of No. 74 with Erickson…Had success in her stint on the pro tour, winning the UTR PTT Baton Rouge in January…Captured four doubles titles over the summer, including three at the W15 San Diego and another at the W15 Los Angeles…Increased her WTA singles ranking to No. 754 and No. 437 in doubles…Earned her second varsity letter as a Tiger.
Concluded her LSU career with 36 singles and 37 doubles victories with 11 collective ranked victories…Posted a .750 winning percentage with an overall 36-12 record in solo play…Held a .627 winning percentage in doubles behind an overall mark of 37-22.
JUNIOR SEASON (2023-24)
Transferred to LSU from Baylor for the 2023-24 season and improved her win totals in both singles and doubles … Went 16-5 in singles and 15-11 in doubles, an improvement on her 12-15 singles record and 11-9 doubles record at Baylor in 2022-23 … Sahdiieva’s 12 singles wins in dual matches led the team … Scored a point in singles and/or doubles in all six of LSU’s SEC wins in the regular season … Picked up 11 doubles wins at the No. 1 doubles spot with two different freshman partners, including four against ranked foes with Kenna Erickson … Finished runner-up in doubles with freshman Kinaa Graham at the 2023 ITA Women’s Southern Regional … Final ranking of No. 67 in the ITA doubles rankings with Erickson … Named First Team All-Louisiana … Earned her first varsity letter as a Tiger.
PRIOR TO LSU
Contributed over two seasons at Baylor that saw the program reach the NCAA Tournament in both seasons … In her freshman campaign in 2021-22, she posted an 18-9 mark in singles and a 15-10 mark in doubles … Her 18 wins in singles ranked third on the team while her five wins in Big 12 play also ranked third … Strongest moment of the season came in the first Round of the NCAA Tournament against Washington, where she earned a 6-4, 6-1 win against Kelly Leung to clinch a 4-2 win for the Bears … In her second season of competition, Sahdiieva earned twelve wins in singles, primarily playing at the No. 2 and 3 courts for the Bears, and earned 13 wins in doubles playing with four different partners across all three doubles spots … Active in various ITF tournaments in 2023, including winning an ITF 15k in doubles in California over the summer.
