• Mission

  The LSU Athletic Training Department is dedicated to providing the outstanding student-athletes of Louisiana State University with the highest level of medical care. Our goal is to support our student athletes in all areas of health and wellness to allow them to compete to the best of their ability in their sport. Services provided to student-athletes include the following: Health and wellness education, injury prevention, injury evaluation and treatment, and injury rehabilitation. We strive to utilize current evidence-based best practices, technology and equipment in delivery of these services.

We are committed to creating an atmosphere that promotes the total development of the individual. The Sports Medicine department is dedicated to continuous growth and education of our staff and on-going evaluation to ensure that we are providing the best possible care to our student athletes. It is our desire to be one of the premier healthcare providers in college athletics.
