LSU x Nike Blue Ribbon Elite
In December of 2025, LSU acted as the launchpad for Nike’s Blue Ribbon Elite NIL program, a first-of-its-kind partnership, giving student-athletes a platform to influence product, innovation, storytelling and culture. This partnership gives Tiger athletes the opportunity the help advance and elevate two of the most iconic brands in sport.
Nike’s Blue Ribbon Elite program could have started anywhere in the country, but it launched in Baton Rouge, representing another example of LSU leading the way, and remaining at the forefront in the new collegiate model.
A few months later, 11 LSU players were featured on Nike’s inaugural Blue Ribbon Elite Football roster. The Tigers’ class is the largest of any school in the campaign, which included the first offensive lineman to sign with Nike at any level in Jordan Seaton. The Tigers also boasted five former players on Nike's professional roster.
The partnership is only getting bigger. Nike and LSU have announced the addition of 40 top student-athletes across multiple sports to Nike’s Blue Ribbon Elite NIL program for the 2026-27 year.
