SENIOR SEASON (2021)
Played in all 20 matches for the Tigers while earning four starts … tallied two goals on the season … scored first goal of season in LSU’s 5-0 win over ULL in the 81st minute … scored in the 38th minute of LSU’s 4-0 win over South Carolina on Oct. 21 … the goal against South Carolina made it into SportCenter’s Top 10 at the No. 5 spot … totaled 842 minutes of action on the season … season high in minutes (59) came against Arizona on Sept. 2 … took 25 shots on the season, 13 were on target.
JUNIOR SEASON (2020-21)
Played in all 19 matches for the Tigers and started 16 of them … ranked second on the team with three assists on the season … first assist of the season came in LSU’s 1-1 draw at Missouri on Oct. 16 as she setup Taylor Dobles’ goal … picked up another assist on a Tinaya Alexander goal the following week in LSU’s 3-3 draw vs. Alabama (Oct. 23) … assisted Tinaya Alexander’s game winner in the second round of the SEC Tournament versus No. 14 Ole Miss with 12 second left in the first overtime period … totaled 1,224 minutes on the pitch including a season high of 92 in LSU’s match versus Alabama on Oct. 23 … took 28 shots on the season, 11 of them were on frame … LSU did not lose a match in 2020 when she registered an assist as the Tigers went 1-0-2 in those three contests … one of five LSU players to appear in all 19 matches.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2019)
Played in all 18 matches for the Tigers and earned 15 starts … her first-career goal came on Aug. 25 at Navy … the goal at Navy came in the 101st minute and gave LSU its first win of the season, 1-0 … scored a goal in LSU’s 2-2 draw against Mississippi State on Oct. 24 … scored a goal in the fifth minute of LSU’s season finale against Kentucky that helped propel LSU to a 3-2 win … started the final 15 matches of the season … took 16 shots on the season, eight of which were on goal … played the entirety of the match three times on the season (Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn) … her three goals on the season were a team lead … finished the season with six points (three goals) … logged a total of 1,190 minutes on the pitch … season high of three shots came against McNeese State.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2018)
Appeared in six matches for the Tigers during her debut season … biggest moment of her season came in the quarterfinal match against Tennessee at the SEC Tournament … in the ninth round of a sudden death shootout, Johnson converted her game winning penalty kick to advance LSU, 7-6, to the semifinal round of the conference tournament … took her only two shots of the season in a road match at Arkansas, both shots were on goal … played a total of 66 minutes … made her collegiate debut in LSU’s 3-0 win over Lamar on Sept. 4.
PRIOR TO LSU
Talented scoring forward from St. Joseph’s Academy … a four-time District Champion and all-district first team selection from 2015-18 … was the four-time St. Joseph’s Academy offensive MVP from 2015-18 … the all-district offensive MVP in 2017 and the overall MVP in 2018 … was honored three times as an All-Metro First Team selection from 2016-18 … was selected to the Division I All-State Freshmen Team in 2015 … Division I All-State Second Team selection in 2016 and 2017 … a member or the Louisiana East All-Star squad in 2018 where she was also awarded MVP honors … was a Louisiana Soccer Association State Champion in 2016 and 2017 as well as a Gulf States Premier League Champion in 2015.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Angie and Gordon Johnson … has one brother named Jacob … majoring in biological sciences … cousin of Jeanne Kenney (LSU women’s basketball) … her mother, father and grandfather all attended LSU … a member of the National Honors Society … chose LSU because she has attended LSU soccer camps since elementary school and it has always been a dream of hers to represent the Purple and Gold on the pitch.
