Honored as a First-Team NFCA All-American … Was the SEC and Louisiana Player of the Year … Named to the All-SEC, All-South Region and All-Louisiana first teams … Selected the SEC Tournament and NCAA Region 3 Most Valuable Player … Named to the WCWS All-Tournament Team … Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll … … Named the NFCA Player of the Week on March 28 for not allowing an earned run in over 28 innings of play … Was a team captain … Finished the season with an LSU-record 36 wins to just six losses to rank third in wins in the NCAA… Led the team with a school-record 0.66 ERA, the ninth-lowest in the NCAA… Finished SEC play with an ERA of 0.23 … Was a perfect 21-0 against SEC opponents … Set the then-school and SEC records for most single-season strikeouts with 410 and ranked fourth in the NCAA for strikeouts per seven innings (10.4) … Struck out a school and SEC-record 19 batters in one game against Oklahoma in the WCWS … Combined to pitch five no-hitters … Pitched complete game no-hitters against Tennessee and Ole Miss … Combined to pitch a perfect game followed by a complete-game no-hitter against Tennessee … Had streaks of 51 innings and 41.2 innings of pitching scoreless softball … Did not allow a single run at home during the regular season … Set single-season records for most appearances (49) Named to the 2001 USA National Blue Team where she had a stellar summer touring the USA, Canada and Venezuela.

Honored as a Second-Team NFCA All-American … Named to the All-SEC, All-South Region and All-Louisiana first teams … Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll with a 3.2 GPA … Named to the NCAA Region 7 All-Tournament and SEC All-Tournament Teams … Finished the season with an ERA of 1.14 in a team-high 42 appearances … Finished the season with a 27-7 record … Started in a total of 33 games, pitching 22 complete games … Second in shutouts in a season with eight … Recorded four saves … Pitched 239.1 innings, allowing 124 hits, 45 runs and 39 earned runs … Notched 278 strikeouts … Recorded 13 strikeouts against McNeese State and South Florida … Opponents hit only .152 against her … Named the NFCA Player of the Week and SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week on April 3 after she pitched her first collegiate no-hitter and struck out 12 batters against Ole Miss … Threw 19 total innings, struck out 26 batters and allowed only six hits and no runs for the week … Named the SEC Pitcher of the Week for April 17 when she went 3-0 and pitched her second collegiate no-hitter against Louisiana Tech and had a complete game shutout against South Carolina … Named SEC Pitcher of the Week for May 1 when she pitched 13 scoreless innings against Kentucky and Tennessee.

FRESHMAN SEASON (1999)
Was named to the All-SEC and All-Louisiana first teams … Ranked in the top 25 in the NCAA for strikeouts per seven innings (7.9) … Had 12 strikeouts against Bowling Green … Posted a 23-5 record in 38 appearances … Pitched 180.1 innings with 18 complete games and 6 shutouts … Pitched nine innings against USL… Recorded a 1.13 ERA overall and a 0.92 ERA in SEC play … Had four saves … Hit .222 for the season with 16 hits, five doubles, two triples and 10 RBIs … Both triples were against Northwestern State … Had three RBIs against Southern … Committed no errors with four putouts and 20 assists for a perfect fielding percentage … Had a season-high four assists against Southern Miss … Was the Female Athlete of the Month runner-up for her play on the 1999 USA Junior Olympic softball team after she did not give up a single hit or run.

HIGH SCHOOL
Posted a 24-5 record with a 0.32 ERA and 305 strikeouts her senior year with a .443 batting average … Had a 81-17 career record … Was a three-time Most Valuable Player and all-district selection … Member of the All-Greater Houston team for four years, All-State team for three years and participated in the All-Star game as a senior … Led Cy-Fair High to four district titles … Was also a middle blocker for the volleyball team.
