• Emerged as LSU’s starting catcher at the beginning of the season, but a back injury sidelined him from April 8 through the remainder of the year
• Played in 26 games (26 starts at catcher), batting .209 (14-for-67) with one double, one triple, three homers, nine RBI and 18 runs
• Launched a game-tying solo homer on March 31 in the fourth inning vs. Tennessee; dinger tied the game at 4-4 and LSU went on to a 6-4 win
• Blasted first career SEC home run in the bottom of the eighth inning on March 24 vs. Arkansas, tying the game 1-1
• Launched first career LSU home run on March 6 vs. Butler
• Named to the SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll as a sport administration major
