Fan Services & Policies

Announcements
Public address announcements other than birthday announcements are restricted to emergency situations only and must be requested by contacting LSU Event Staff or a law Enforcement officer on site.

Artificial Noise Makers
Southeastern Conference rules do not permit artificial noise-makers to be brought into or used in the stadium. Anyone found violating this policy is subject to ejection.

Backpacks & Coolers (see Geaux Safe FAQ)
Backpacks, coolers and other containers are not allowed in Alex Box Stadium.

Banners & Poles
Banners may not be hung and poles may not be brought into Alex Box Stadium. Approved banners must be removed after each game. Use of banners and any temporary signage must be approved by LSU Event Management (225) 578-8428.

Beverage Policy
LSU encourages an atmosphere of safe consumption of alcohol for fans 21 years of age and older. Fans may purchase no more than two alcoholic beverages per person per transaction, and LSU reserves the right to refuse service to any fan who appears intoxicated. Anyone found violating this policy is subject to ejection. The sale of alcoholic beverages will end at the conclusion of the top of the 7th inning.

Birthday Announcements
Birthdays to be announced by the public address announcer may be submitted to the Fan Zone on the concourse level of the stadium behind home plate and must be submitted prior to the sixth inning.

Cameras
Cameras are permitted in Alex Box Stadium for both fans and working news media. All photos taken in Alex Box Stadium must be for editorial or personal use only and cannot be used for commercial or promotional purposes.

Customer Service
LSU Athletics Event Staff are available throughout the stadium to ensure all fans have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.

First Aid
Emergency Medical Technicians are stationed at the breaks in the grandstand between the left and right field seating areas. If you need assistance or are with someone who does, contact the nearest law enforcement officer or event staff team member.

Guest Service Kiosk
The Fan Zone is located behind home plate on the concourse level of the grandstands. Fans can pick-up posters and schedule cards and sign up to be a part of our birthday announcement. Game Programs with scorecards are also available for free. Prizes for game promotions can be picked up at the Fan Zone.

Food & Drinks
Fans may bring in one (1) factory-sealed water bottle up to 34 ounces in size. Food may not be brought into Alex Box Stadium. Water fountains are located inside Alex Box Stadium.

Game Programs
Game programs are free and are available at the Guest Services room on the field level and the Guest Service Kiosk on the upper concourse level. Game programs provide information on LSU and its opponent, as well as interesting feature stories on the LSU Athletics program. Hall of Fame
Located on the ground level, third-base side of Alex Box Stadium, the Wally Pontiff Jr. Baseball Hall of Fame celebrates the glorious history of LSU Baseball and contains numerous artifacts, including the Tigers’ National Championship rings and trophies, vintage uniforms and Major League memorabilia. The facility is named in memory of Wally Pontiff Jr., a two-time all-SEC selection at LSU who died due to heart complications on July 24, 2002, at the age of 21. It is open to fans through the seventh inning during LSU home baseball games in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

The LSU Sports Radio Network broadcast of all LSU baseball games can be heard around the world for free in the LSU Sports Mobile Apps and at LSUsports.net/live. Live stats are also available free of charge for all games at LSUstats.com.

Lost and Found (225) 578-4085
Items found during the game and during post game clean-up will be turned over to LSU Event Management. Please check with an event staff team member for your item. Unclaimed items will be turned over to LSU Police every two weeks.

Lucky Program Number Winners
Lucky Program Number prizes may be claimed at the Fan Zone on the concourse level of the stadium behind home plate.

Official Merchandise
The LSU SportShop is located in Alex Box Stadium on the concourse level behind home plate and on ground level across from the Hall of Fame. Fans can also order merchandise at www.LSUshop.net, the Official Online Store of LSU Athletics.

Re-Entry to Alex Box Stadium
Tickets may be scanned upon exit for re-entry (otherwise a new unused ticket is required).

Seat Upgrades
LSU Athletics’ GameDay Experience is an app that allows LSU fans the opportunity to purchase pregame and in-game seating upgrades at various LSU home games. The program delivers the opportunity through a mobile site easily accessed through your smartphone. Register your device at lsu.expapp.com.

Smoking
Smoking and the use of all tobacco products on the LSU Campus is prohibited. This prohibition applies to all individuals while on the LSU Campus, including faculty, staff, students, administrators, contractors, and visitors. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff, pipes, and chewing tobacco are not permitted. Smoking is not permitted at or near any gates/entrances

Sportsmanship
The throwing of objects from the stands is strictly prohibited and is cause for immediate ejection. Also, fans may not go onto the playing field at anytime before, during or after games except upon approval by LSU.

Stadium Seats/Cushions (Portable)
Oversized stadium seats wider than 16 inches will not be allowed. Stadium seat cushions may not have any zipper pockets or pouches and are subject to search.

Starting Times | Schedule
Generally, LSU week-night home games typically begin at 6:30 p.m. CT. Saturday and Sunday game times vary depending on television scheduling and required departure times for visiting teams. For the most up-to-date information, please click here.

Water Fountains
Water fountains are located at four locations throughout the stadium: one location down each of the right field and left field lines by the concession stands and two locations on the concourse by the restrooms on the first and third base sides.

GameDay Parking Policies

Drop-Off Zone
A drop-off zone is located on Gourrier Avenue in front of the stadium near Gate 2. Fans may be dropped at this location starting three hours prior to first pitch, but the driver may not leave the vehicle. The vehicle must depart immediately after the drop off. Picking up fans after the games will be very limited until traffic clears all parking lots. Pickups may be halted if police initiate contraflow.

Free Parking | Parking Map
Parking on a first-come, first-served basis is available in the Old Front Nine, Gourrier South, Levee South and Hayfield Lots.

Opening and Closing Times for Baseball Parking Lots
Reserved lots and Gameday parking lot open 3 hours prior to each game. (See Motor Home details below)

Reserved Parking (Season)
Season reserved parking is designated in the following lots surrounding Alex Box Stadium: Hall of Fame Lot and Champions Lot.

Handicap Accessible Parking (Single-Game)
Free first-come, first-serve handicap parking spots are available in the Hall of Fame Lot and Bullpen lots. Vehicles displaying state-issued handicap license and/or hangtag will be allowed.

Motor Home Parking
Motor Home parking is available in Lot 412 off of River Road, entrance to the lot from Skip Bertman Dr. is also available. This area will be the only available space for Motor Home parking during weekday games. Reserved motor home parking is not available for LSU baseball games. All motor home parking is on a first come, first-served basis.

Motor Home Exhaust Extensions
All motor homes require exhaust extensions that reach the top of the motor home. For the safety of everyone, motor homes without an extension should not operate a generator.

Motor Home Lot Opening Time
Parking for motor homes is available after 5 p.m. on weekdays and on Fridays of home baseball games. Motor Homes parked in Lot 412 off of River Road will be allowed to enter the lot starting Thursday after 5 p.m. for a weekend series. Motor homes must vacate the LSU campus after weekday games and by 9 p.m. following Sunday games.

Motorized Vehicles (Go Carts, Etc.)
Golf carts, mopeds, scooters, ATVs, go carts, hover boards and other custom motorized vehicles are not permitted on the LSU campus unless authorized by LSU Athletics.

Prohibited Parking Areas
Automobiles and motor homes may park only in designated areas. No parking is permitted on roots of trees. Parking of vehicles on the neutral ground (median) on Nicholson Drive is not permitted. Vehicles that park on the shoulders of Nicholson Drive or Gourrier Avenue will be towed.

Saving Spaces
Saving parking spaces for other motorists is not permitted in any lot.

Shuttle for Parking Lots
Shuttles will operate from South East corner of Lot 412 beginning one (1) hour prior to scheduled first pitch.

Spaces For Vehicles Only
Paid parking spaces are for vehicles only. The purchase and use of a parking pass for other reasons, such as port-o-lets, trailers, tents, chairs, etc., is not permitted.

Tents in Parking Lots
Fans using a tent or canopy over the tailgate of a vehicle must keep travel lanes open for vehicle traffic and may not take up space in other parking spaces. Tents may not be used to save parking spaces.

Tent Size Limits
LSU discourages the use of tents larger than 10 feet by 10 feet. Tents may not be staked into the ground.

Tents on Sidewalks
Tents may not be set up on sidewalks or any area of regular flow of pedestrian traffic.

Travel Lanes
Tailgating is not permitted in travel lanes on roads or parking lots. No tents or other items may be placed in travel lanes.
