• Eyanson completed the season No. 3 in the nation in strikeouts with 152 and No. 16 in the nation in strikeouts per nine innings (12.67)
• The winning pitcher in Game 2 of the CWS Finals versus Coastal Carolina, as he fired 6.1 innings and limited the Chanticleers to three runs on seven hits with one walk and nine strikeouts in the National Championship-clinching victory
• Finished No. 1 in the SEC in wins (12), No. 2 in innings pitched (108.0), No. 4 in the league in ERA (3.00), No. 3 in strikeouts (152) and No. 10 in opponent batting average (.218)
• Pitched 19.0 straight scoreless innings over five appearances from May 17-June 8
• Defeated West Virginia in Game 2 of NCAA Baton Rouge Super Regional (June 8) – 5.0 IP, four runs, five hits, three walks and seven strikeouts
• Posted a win and a save in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional – defeated Little Rock (May 30), limiting the Trojans to five hits in 7.2 scoreless innings with one walk and seven Ks … earned the save vs. Little Rock in regional title game (June 2), firing 1.2 scoreless innings with one hit, no walks and three Ks
• Earned a save vs. Texas A&M (May 23 – SEC Tournament) in his first relief appearance of the seaso – 3.0 IP, no runs, two hits, one walk, four strikeouts
• Posted a win over South Carolina on May 17, allowing just two runs on five hits in 7.0 innings with three walks and five strikeouts
• Fired 6.0 shutout innings to defeat Arkansas (May 10), allowing just five hits with one walk and 11 strikeouts
• Named SEC Co-Pitcher of the Week on May 5 after he fired a brilliant complete-game three hitter on May 3 at Texas A&M … Eyanson allowed just one run on three hits in 9.0 innings with one walk and 14 strikeouts … he retired the first nine Texas A&M batters in order did not allow a hit until the fifth inning
• Defeated Alabama (April 18), limiting the Crimson Tide to just one run on four hits in 6.0 innings with five walks and 12 strikeouts … Eyanson allowed two hits and one run in the first inning, but permitted no runs on two hits over the final 5.0 innings of his outing
• Earned win at Oklahoma (April 4), limiting the Sooners to two unearned runs on three hits in 5.2 innings with four walks and eight strikeouts
• Defeated Miss. State on March 28, working 5.0 innings and limiting the Bulldogs to just one unearned run on five hits with three walks and 12 strikeouts
• Recorded a remarkable outing March 8 versus North Alabama, recording a career-high 15 strikeouts in 7.0 innings in the Tigers’ 6-2 victory limited North Alabama to two runs on two hits with two walks in the seven-inning outing, firing 95 pitches.
• Posted win over Nebraska (March 1) in Frisco College Classic, working 6.0 innings and allowing five runs on seven hits with one walk and seven strikeouts … allowed the five runs over the first three innings of the outing, but blanked the Cornhuskers over his final three innings of work
• Posted win over Purdue Fort Wayne (Feb. 15) in first LSU career start, allowing one run on four hits in 5.0 innings with no walks and six strikeouts
2024 Season (at UC San Diego)
All-Big West Second Team…USA Baseball Collegiate National Team- International Friendship Series roster…Big West Pitcher of the Week (May 20) … Ranked seventh in the Big West with a 3.07 ERA … Finished the season with a 6-2 record in 14 appearances (9 starts) and one save … Led the Tritons in innings pitched (82.0) and strikeouts (85) … Took over as the Tritons’ Friday starter midway through the season … Ranked fourth in the Big West with a .190 opponent batting average and fifth in runs allowed (29), fifth in hits allowed (55), second in home runs allowed (2) and eighth in total strikeouts … Pitched the second complete game of the Division I era in a 4-1 victory over Cal Poly (May 17) to earn his first Big West Pitcher of the Week nod … Collected a season-high eight strikeouts three different times (Feb. 17, Mar. 29, Apr. 5) … Allowed one run or less in six of his 14 appearances.
2023 Season (at UC San Diego)
UCSDTritons.com Athlete of the Week (Feb. 27)…Appeared in eight games, making seven starts…Finished with a 2-1 record and 4.34 earned run averaged…Collected 34 strikeouts with just eight walks in 29.0 innings pitched…Made his collegiate debut as the starter against Arizona (Feb. 20), pitching 5.0 scoreless innings and giving up just two hits with no walks and six strikeouts…Collected a season-high nine strikeouts against Long Beach State (March 19), pitching 6.1 innings and giving up just one hit with no runs.

Born in Long Beach, Calif., on October 9, 2004…Parents are Jeff and Kristen Eyanson; father is a professor, mother works in a chiropractic office…One of six siblings, with three brothers Blake, Joseph and Andrew and two sisters Alexandria and Madyson…Hopes to one day play professional baseball…Enjoys basketball, music and fashion…Roots for the Dodgers…Favorite athlete is Chad Johnson…Listens to Lil Durk and Lil Baby…Also loves jazz music…says he chose to attend LSU due to “The winning culture that LSU promotes throughout the environment, the pride of which the program takes in developing players into great young men”…Majoring in interdisciplinary studies at LSU.
