BATON ROUGE, La. – Seven members of the LSU men’s swimming and diving program were named to the CSCAA All-American team for their top-16 performances at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, the CSCAA announced on Tuesday.
Swimmer Jere Hribar and diver Carson Paul both earned First Team honors. Hribar shined in the 100-free, bringing back a silver medal for his performance. He touched the wall with a school-record time of 40.33. In the diving well, Paul took fourth place on the platform, totaling a score of 404.20. It was his best finish at NCAAs.
Hribar also received multiple Second Team honors for a 10th-place performance in the 200-free and top-16 placements on the 200-medley relay and 200-free relay teams.
The 200-medley relay team of Stepan Goncharov, Volodymyr Lisovets, Caleb Ellis, and Hribar earned Second Team honors for a 10th-place finish. The squad posted a time of 1:22.06.
Goncharov and Hribar, along with Simon Meubry and Diggory Dillingham, brought back Second Team honors in the 200-free relay after clocking a time of 1:15.61 to finish 13th.
The men finished the NCAA Championships in 16th place, accumulating 61 points. Both the finish and point total are the best since 2023.
