SENIOR SEASON (2025-26)
Represented the Tigers at the NCAA Championships as a member of the All-American 200-medley relay (1:22.06; 20.08 split) and 200-free relay teams (1:15.61; 19.20 split) as well as the 400-free relay team (2:48.72; 43.24 split) … At the SEC Championships, he was a member of the silver medal 200-free relay team (1:15.13; 18.85 split) and the bronze medal 200-medley relay team (1:21.23; 20.79 split) receiving All-SEC honros for those performances; also took 11th in the 100-back (45.36), 20th in the 100-free (42.67), and 31st in the 50-free (19.77) at SECs … Opned his senior campaign at the SMU Classic, taking the top spot in the 100-back (46.41), third in the 200-IM (1:47.93), and fourth in the 200-back with a personal best (1:44.41) … At the Air Force Invitational, he touched the wall first in the 100-back (48.04), first in the 200-back (1:50.06), and seventh in the 200-IM (1:55.61) … Finished first in the 100-back (46.29), first in the 200-back (1:45.00), and second in the 200-IM (1:47.26) against Kentucky … In the tri meet victory over Alabama/FSU, the senior placed third in the 100-back (46.38), third in the 200-IM with a personal best (1:47.17), and fifth in the 200-back (1:45.86) … At midseasons, Goncharov notched fourth in the 50-free (19.36), fifth in the 100-free (42.50), and fifth in the 100-back (45.25) … At Florida, he touched the wall first in the 100-back (46.92) and third in the 200-back (1:50.00) … In the Last Chance Invite at Auburn, he recorded a time of 45.44 in the 100-back
JUNIOR SEASON (2024-25 at LSU)
NCAA qualifier in the 50-free, 100-free, and 100-back … Placed 28th in the 100-back (45.67), 52nd in the 50-free (19.57), and 63rd in the 100-free (42.94) … At the 2025 SEC Championships, competed in one B final in the 100-back, finishing 10th with a time of 45.83; placed 20th overall in the 50-free, clocking a 19.48; Began his first season at LSU with a second-place finish in the 50-free (20.10) and a third-place finish in the 100-back (46.04) … Won in the 100-back (46.97) and placed second in the 200-back (1:46.82) in a quad team meet with Navy, George Mason, and Loyola (Md.) … In a tri-team meet with Alabama and Florida State, he won the 100-back (45.43) and placed sixth in the 50-free (20.04) … At the Tigers’ midseason meet in the Georgia Invite, he finished in fourth place in the 100-free (42.22), fifth place in the 50-free (19.31), and seventh in the 100-back (46.88) … Against Texas A&M, won the 100-back (46.87) and claimed sixth place in the 100-free (44.20) … Placed 33rd in the 100-free at the SEC meet with a time of 43.09
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023-24 at Pittsburgh)
Competed at the NCAA Championships in the 100 Back (26th – 45.73), 50 Free (47th – 19.62), and the 100 Free (61st – 43.39)… Crushed the 100 back school record at ACC Championships and placed fourth overall with a time of 45.44… Won the 50 Free (20.28) and placed second in the 100 Free (44.07) against Minnesota… Finished in fourth place in the 100 Back at the Minnesota Invite with a season-best time of 46.94… Finished in fifth place in the 100 Free with a personal best time of 43.15… Swam two personal best times at the Minnesota Invite in the 100 Free (5th – 43.15) and in the 200 IM (14th – 1:49.06)… Recorded two season-best times at the Minnesota Invite in the 100 Back (4th – 46.94) and in the 50 Free (17th – 19.87)… Picked up two second place finishes overall against Notre Dame and Penn State in the 100 Free (43.42) and in the 50 Free (20.12)… Finished in second place in the 100 Free (44.31) and in the 100 Back (48.05) against California… Opened the season with a third-place finish in the 50 Free (20.41) and a sixth-place finish in the 100 Free (46.92) at Stanford
FRESHMAN SEASON (2022-23 at Pittsburgh)
Fourth in the 100 free (44.82) and fifth in the 50 free (20.52) against Michigan/Wisconsin… Sixth in the 50 free against West Virginia… Placed 20th in the 100 back (46.80), 19th in the 100 free (43.22), and got seventh and broke a school record in the 400 free relay (2:51.81) at the ACC Championship… A part of the men’s NCAA Championship team.
