BATON ROUGE — Four members of LSU’s national championship football team will play in their final college game on Saturday, as they will participate in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
The game will be televised to a national audience on ESPN and starts at 4 p.m. from Ladd-Peebles Stadium.
Among the Tigers to play in the 2004 Senior Bowl are offensive guard Stephen Peterman, wide receiver Devery Henderson, punter Donnie Jones and defensive tackle Chad Lavalais. All four Tigers are members of the South squad.
In all, the Tigers have had seven seniors play in post-season all-star games. Offensive tackle Rodney Reed played in the East-West Shrine Game two weeks ago, while safety Jack Hunt and linebacker Eric Alexander both participated in the Hula Bowl last week in Maui.
