SENIOR SEASON (2003)
Speedster who had an outstanding second season as a wide receiver after playing as a running back as a freshman and sophomore for the Tigers … Earned Second Team All-SEC honors in 2003 after ranking among the league leaders in receptions (53) and yards (861) … Led the SEC in receiving touchdowns with 11, which is the most in LSU single-sesason history … Started all 14 games for the Tigers and caught at least 1 pass in each game that he played, which included a season-best of 7 catches for 114 yards and a TD in the win over Mississippi State … Added 100-yard games against Florida (5 catches for 109) and Auburn (6 catches for 101 yards and 2 TDs) … Hauled in the game-winning TD pass against Ole Miss, a 53-yard reception in the fourth quarter … Five of his 11 scoring plays covered 40 yards or more, including a season-long reception of 64 yards vs. Auburn on LSU’s first possession of the game … Also had scoring plays of 55 yards vs. Arizona, 53 vs. Ole Miss and 50 and 46 yards vs. Louisiana Tech … Currently ranks tied for second in LSU history with 19 career TD receptions … Was on the receiving end of perhaps the most memorable play in school history in 2002 as he hauled in a 75-yard TD pass from Marcus Randall as time expired to beat Kentucky last year … Dubbed “The Bluegrass Miracle,” The Associated Press called it the play of the year in college football and the play later went on to win an ESPY for the “Best Play” category … Also a member of LSU’s 2001 National Champion Indoor Track and Field team.

JUNIOR SEASON (2002)
Missed the last two games of the season after breaking forearm against Ole Miss … Injured the arm while making his eighth TD grab of the season just before halftime against the Rebels … Underwent surgery a day later and had 14 screws and two plates placed in his arm … Ranked second on team with 23 catches for 447 yards and a team-best eight TDs … The eight TD receptions rank as the seventh-highest total in LSU history for a single- season … Had perhaps the most memorable catch in school history, a 75-yard grab dubbed “The Bluegrass Miracle” as time expired in LSU’s 33-30 win over Kentucky … The catch has been called college football’s play of the year by Sports Illustrated and the Associated Press … Was also nominated for an ESPY … That catch capped a 5-reception, 201-yard, three touchdown day for Henderson, a performance that earned him SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors … Took a shovel pass vs. Kentucky and turned it into a 70-yard scoring play … Caught two TD passes in win over Florida and had one each vs. Louisiana-Lafayette, Mississippi State and Ole Miss … Missed the Arkansas and Texas games with a broken arm … Eight TD receptions came over last eight games of his season.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001)
Played in 10 games and rushed for 273 yards on 47 carries during the regular-season … Had perhaps best game of collegiate career vs. Illinois in the Sugar Bowl … Rushed 13 times for 54 yards, including a long run of 17 yards … Had 9 carries for 46 yards in the fourth quarter vs. Illinois … Also returned a pair of kickoffs for 44 yards in the Sugar Bowl … Had 50 yard run vs. Florida … Scored on a 28-yard run vs. Miss. State … Member of LSU’s national champion track and field team … Ran the second-fastest 60-meter time in school history (6.72 seconds) … Member of LSU’s NCAA-qualifying 4 x 100 relay team.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Played in 11 games, including the Peach Bowl, with no starts … Rushed for 116 yards on just 23 carries for an average of 5.0 yards an attempt … Scored a pair of touchdowns, including a 32-yarder in his collegiate debut against Western Carolina in the season opener … The 32-yard TD run was just the second carry of his collegiate career … Scored on an eight-yard end-around run against Kentucky … Rushed for 26 yards on four carries, including a 22-yard run, vs. Ole Miss … Had 18 yards on three carries in a win over Miss. State … Returned one kickoff 21 yards.
