The heart and soul of LSU’s offensive line … First Team All-SEC by both the AP and the SEC Coaches … Started 25 games at left guard over the last two years … Starter in all 13 games in 2002 … Saw action in 869 plays and allowed only one sack … Whistled for only one penalty all season long … Graded out at 80 percent or better in all but one game … Played a season-high 99 snaps and graded out at 85 percent vs. Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001)
Fierce lineman who started 12 of 13 games at left guard for the Tigers … Didn’t start, but played, vs. Ole Miss after suffering high ankle sprain vs. Miss. State the week before … Shared LSU Offensive player of the week honors twice – vs. Florida and vs. Arkansas … Moved to offensive line during fall camp and earned a starting position … Played on the defensive side of the ball (defensive end) in 2000.

TRUE FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Made an impact with the Tiger defense, seeing action in nine of the 12 games … Finished the year with eight tackles, three of which went for losses … Came to LSU as a tight end and made the transition to defensive end early during two-a-days in August … One of only four true freshmen on defense to play in better than half the games in 2000.
