SENIOR SEASON (2003)
One of the finest student-athletes in the history of LSU athletics … Is the only player in LSU football history to earn First-Team Academic All-America honors twice (2002 and 2003)… Also named Second-Team All-America one time (2001) … One of only 15 recipients of the 2003 National Scholar- Athlete Award, which carries an $18,000 post-graduate scholarship … Currently riding a string of 47 consecutive starts on the offensive line for the Tigers … Started all 14 games at right tackle for LSU in 2003 … Played 916 snaps in 2003 and did not allow a sack all year … Called for only 4 penalties … Recorded 14 pancakes and 65 knockdowns, including 10 vs. Arizona and 7 vs. Ole Miss … Called by Sports Illustrated as one of the smartest players in college football in its preseason issue … Graduated in May with a 3.9 grade point average in accounting … Spent the summer in graduate school and is on pace to receive his master’s degree in accounting in May of 2004 … Versatile lineman who has also played the guard spot during his college career … Very smart player who uses knowledge of the game as well as that of the opposition to his advantage … Has outstanding technique and footwork … With experience and knowledge, he’s like having a coach in huddle and on the field.

JUNIOR SEASON (2002)
Player who combines excellence in both the classroom and on the football field … First-Team Academic All-America in 2002 after earning Second Team All-America honors in 2001 … Third straight year as a starter for the Tigers … Shifted from left tackle to right tackle prior to the 2002 season … Started all 13 games at right tackle in 2002 after starting 21 consecutive games over a two-year period at left tackle … Played a team-high 889 plays and allowed four sacks … Whistled for only four penalties all season … Accounting major with a 3.9 grade point average … Graduates in May and goal is to be the CEO of a major company one day.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001)
LSU’s starter at left tackle for all 13 games … Named Second Team Academic All-America as well as earning a spot on the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Has been in the Tiger starting lineup for 20-straight games dating back to the 2000 … Graded out at 89 percent or better seven times … Played every down on offense in last five SEC games … Overall, played from start to finish in nine of 12 games.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Redshirt freshman who played in eight games with seven starts during the regular-season … Also started the Peach Bowl contest vs. Georgia Tech … Inserted into starting lineup at left guard against Tennessee and never relinquished his starting position … LSU posted a 6-2 mark with Reed in the starting lineup … Versatility on the line proved to be a plus as he was shifted from left guard to left tackle due to injuries against Kentucky … Played the final six games at left tackle … Type of player who gives a consistent performance each time out … Outstanding both on the field and in the classroom … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll … Redshirted as a true freshman in 1999.
