Made an immediate impact after joining LSU in January, finishing 11-6 in singles with six victories over nationally ranked opponents ... Won 10 matches at the No. 3 court and earned a ranked victory over UCLA’s then-No. 75 Kate Fakih, 6-2, 6-3, before defeating Florida’s then-No. 26 Gabia Paskauskas, 6-2, 6-3 ... Named Second Team All-SEC ... During the postseason, defeated Tennessee’s then-No. 80 Vanesa Suarez, 6-1, 6-2, Oklahoma’s then-No. 59 Julia Garcia Ruiz, 7-6(4), 7-6(2), Georgia’s then-No. 68 Deniz Dilek, 6-4, 6-2, and Virginia’s then-No. 84 Katie Rolls, 7-5, 6-1 ... Finished 15-7 overall in doubles with nine ranked victories ... Primarily paired with Kenna Erickson, posting a 12-5 record with six ranked wins and reaching No. 17 in the ITA rankings ... Also went 3-1 with Kayla Cross, including a 7-6(6) victory over NC State’s then-No. 2 Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe at the ITA National Indoor Championships ... On the professional circuit following the collegiate season, qualified for the main draw of the WTA 125 event in Ilkley and received a place in Wimbledon singles qualifying, where she pushed then-world No. 137 Elvina Kalieva to three sets ... McDonald stood No. 528 in WTA singles and No. 326 in doubles over the summer with her career highs entering August at No. 352 in singles and No. 160 in doubles ... Hailing from Great Britain, McDonald joins the Tigers for the 2026 dual season…Currently ranked No. 522 in WTA singles, with a career-high ranking of No. 352 achieved on May 26, 2025…Holds a current career-best WTA doubles ranking of No. 161…A former standout on the junior circuit, reaching an ITF Junior ranking of No. 8 in 2023…Between 2019 and 2023, collected six singles and 10 doubles titles at the junior level…On the professional tour, earned three singles and 13 doubles titles…In 2025, captured a singles crown at the W15 Monastir…Enjoyed a breakout year in doubles, claiming titles at the W35 Helsinki and W50 Santo Domingo in March, followed by victories at the W35 Santa Margherita di Pula and the Wrexham Open, and later adding a fifth doubles title of the year at the W50 Funchal in November…Competed in multiple Grand Slams during both her junior and professional career…In junior play, earned singles victories at the U.S. Open, Roland Garros, and Wimbledon, while reaching the quarterfinals in doubles at the Australian Open, Roland Garros, and Wimbledon…On the professional tour, received wild cards into Wimbledon Singles qualifying in 2022 and 2025…Most recently at Wimbledon, earned a first-round doubles victory, defeating the team of WTA No. 13 Linda Noskova and WTA No. 72 Rebecca Sramkova.
