Was a four-year letterman at St. Joseph’s Academy… Was a three-time all-district performer, earning second team honors as a sophomore and junior and first team honors her senior year… Finished her senior season as a First Team All-Metro selection and earned the Best Defensive award for the second-straight year to go along with LHSCA/LSCA All-Star team action… Helped lead her team to fourth in the state as a senior with 204 strikeouts and a 16-9 record… Tallied 501 strikeouts in her prep career with 38 career wins.

Full name is Baylie Hall Thornhill, born on September 9, 1999 in Baton Rouge… She is the daughter of Gary and Denise Thornhill. Father Gary played basketball at Southwest Mississippi Community College… Has one sister Elyse, who is also a member of the LSU softball team… majoring in sports administration.
