Bianka Bell is in her first season as an LSU student coach after wrapping up a stellar four-year career as a Tiger. Bell will work with the hitters as well as infielders. Below is a list of her accomplishments as an LSU Tiger.

SENIOR SEASON (2016)
Started 69 of LSU’s 70 games in her final season at LSU, starting 20 games at short stop before moving over to become the primary option at third base… Led the team with a .381 overall batting average, finishing second overall in total hits with 72 earning 12 doubles and leading the team with 14 home runs and a team-high slugging percentage of .667… Finished second on the team with 20 multi-hit outings, belting two hits 17 times, three hits twice and four hits once… Drove in 62 RBIs on the year which was also second on the team, while crossing the plate a team-high 60 times… Was second on the team in multi-RBI contests, driving in two runs six times, three runs six times, four runs twice and five-plus runs once…Was walked a team and program record 56 times on the season, being hit 11 times to have a team season-high .541 on-base percentage… Went on an 11-game hitting streak on the year which tied for the longest on the team, while reaching base safely in 24 games and in each of the final 12 games of the season… Finished in the 15 overall in the Southeastern Conference in batting average, runs scored, total bases, slugging percentage, hits, walks, on-base percentage, RBIs, home runs, hit by pitch and total plate appearances… In SEC games, finished in the top 15 in batting average, runs scored, total bases, slugging percentage, walks, on-base percentage, RBIs, home runs, hit by pitch and total plate appearances… Ranked in the top 20 nationally in on-base percentage, RBIs and walks, while ranking in the top 125 in RBIs per game, runs per game and slugging percentage… Against Pacific was 3-for-3 with a home run, four RBIs and two runs scored… Was walked three times, drove in three and scored three times with a double against Bethune-Cookman… Went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored against Memphis… Was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored against Tennessee Tech… Belted a home run among two hits, three RBIs and two runs scored in the SEC opener against Alabama… Closed the series going 2-for-3 with another home run, two RBIs and two runs scored to claim the series for LSU against the Crimson Tide… Became the second player at LSU and in the same game have three home runs, while tying the record for most RBIs in a contest with nine going 4-for-5 with four runs scored against Louisiana Tech… Was 2-for-4 in the series opener against Georgia with two RBIs… Was 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and two runs scored in a win over Mississippi State… Drove in four runs on two hits, including a home run, with a run scored in the finale against Mississippi State… Drove in three on two hits in game two against South Carolina… Went 3-for-3 at home against McNeese State… Had two hits in five consecutive games from April 30-May 8… Was 2-for-4 in the finale against Arkansas with a double, home run, three RBIs and two runs scored… Was 2-for-3 in the opener against Washington with two RBIs and a run scored… Was 2-for-3 with a home run and run scored an SEC tournament game against Tennessee… Became the first player in program history to have multiple home runs in a Women’s College World Series Game, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs scored against Georgia.
JUNIOR SEASON (2015)
Started all 66 games for LSU at shortstop, primarily batting third in the order for most of the season… Was named to the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Watch List, making the first cut when it was whittled down to just 25… Was named the LSWA Player of the Month for February, while being named the player of the week three more times… Was twice named the SEC Player of the Week, while in one week earning the NFCA, USA Softball and espnW player of the week to become the first LSU player in program history to do so… In the preseason was invited to try out for the USA Women’s National Team, being selected to join the senior team for summer competition… Was named first team All-SEC for the first time in her career, while also earning first team All-Louisiana honors… Earned first team NFCA All-South Region honors for the second consecutive year, while being the seventh LSU player in program history and first since 2013 to be named first team All-America… Finished the year being named the Louisiana Hitter of the Year, becoming the fourth LSU player to earn that award in team history… Finished second on the team with a .415 batting average, hits with 85 and RBIs with 73…. Set the all-time single-season home run mark with 18, while becoming the career leader with 44 in just three seasons… Led the Tigers with 19 doubles which is tied for third-most all-time in a single season… Set the program record for total bases in a single year with 162… Set the single-season record for runs scored in a year with 70… Of her 85 hits, 37 were for extra bases… Slugging percentage of .790 is the single-season all-time record, while her .500 on-base percentage is second in a single season… Was walked 32 times which was second on the team during the season… Led the team in intentional walks with four… Finished 10th in the nation in RBIs, while finishing in the top 100 individual players in batting average, doubles per game, home runs per game, home runs, on-base percentage, RBIs, runs per game and slugging percentage… Finished tied for the team lead in multi-hit games with 25 which is tied for sixth most in a single season… Had 20 multi-RBI outings which is second all-time at LSU… Went on a 15-game hitting streak which was a career long, reaching base consecutively in 16 games… Set a new career-best for hits in a game with four, going 4-for-4 with a run scored against Florida… Tied that mark with a 4-for-4 afternoon against Nicholls with four RBIs… Came a hit away from hitting for the cycle twice on the season, needing a home run in the series opener against Arkansas and a double against Texas Southern in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional opener… Set a new career mark for RBIs in a game with five, going 3-for-5 with a double, home run and two runs scored in the series finale against Florida, leading to the trio of league and national player of the week honors… Scored the only run in the opener against Oklahoma with a solo shot to seal the game… Had her first two-home run game in game two against the Sooners, driving in four and scoring twice… Had the game-winning hit against Arizona State to send LSU to the Super Regional round… Connected for her record-breaking 18th home run in her first at bat at the Women’s College World Series in the win over Auburn.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014)
Was only one of three players to start all 62 games for LSU in her sophomore season, earning 59 starts at shortstop and three at designated player… Finished second among the everyday starters in batting average (.337), total extra base hits (26) and runs scored (44), second in hits (60), RBI (51), slugging percentage (.646) and home runs (14), while tying for the team lead in doubles (11) and getting walked a team-high 34 times… Stole seven bases on 10 attempts on the season… Became the third player in team history to earn multiple double-digit home run seasons in a career at LSU, as her 14 is now tied for second-most in a single season… hit four home runs in a span of six games from Feb. 15-21… Became the fastest player to reach 100 career RBI in program history… Hit .329 in league games with 23 hits, six home runs and team-leading 21 RBI to just eight strikeouts, while slugging .643 in league games and had an on-base percentage of .447, which were both second on the team… Ended the season going on a career-high 11-game hitting streak from April 30-May 18 which was the second longest on the team this season, while reaching base in 24 consecutive games which was the longest for the group… Finished the season tied for fourth with 13 multiple hit games, with 11 games of two hits and two with three hits… Was second on the team in multi-RBI games with 14 total, having nine games with two, four with three and one four RBI contest… Had two hits against Central Arkansas, driving in two and scoring twice with a home run and a walk (Feb. 9)… Needed just two at-bats against Penn State to drive in three runs and score twice with a home run (Feb. 17)… Went 2-for-2 against Long Beach State at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic and scored three times (Feb. 20)… Earned three hits in three at-bats against Jackson State with two doubles and three runs scored (Feb. 28)… Went 3-for-3 against Lamar with a double, triple, RBI and two runs scored (March 1)… Was 4-for-6 in the final two games against Auburn, going 2-for-3 in game two (March 8) with two RBI and a run scored on a double and solo home run… Had two RBI and earned three hits against Florida during the series… Went 1-for-3 with a run scored against Nicholls (March 19)… Hit .500 against the Oklahoma Sooners during the series with three hits and a walk… Hit her eighth double of the season against Alabama, driving in her 22nd RBI of the season in game three against the Crimson Tide (March 29)… Hit a walk-off three-run home run to seal the 7-4 comeback win over Tennessee in the bottom of the seventh and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored (April 4)… Had an RBI and a hit in both games against Hofstra… Blasted her eighth home run of the season on a three run shot in game two against South Carolina (April 19)… Hit her ninth double of the season and drove in two RBI against South Alabama (April 23)… Went 2-for-3 in the opener against Ole Miss with an RBI and run scored (April 25)… Smoked her ninth home run of the season on her only hit of the day in game two against the Rebels, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored (April 26)… Hit the go-ahead home run in the fifth inning to give LSU the lead back in the opener against Mississippi State, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored (May 2)… Hit her 11th home run of the season in the very first inning on a three-run shot and ended the game with an RBI double to go 2-for-4 with a career-high tying four RBI and a run scored in game two against MSU (May 3)… Drilled her 11th double of the season in going 1-for-3 against Missouri with an RBI (May 8)… Went 1-for-4 with an RBI against Kentucky in the SEC Tournament (May 9)… Only hit came off of a screaming home run against Louisville in the NCAA Tucson Regional opener where she went 1-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored (May 16)… Hit a home run for the second consecutive game, going 1-for-2 with three RBI and two runs scored against Arizona (May 17)… In the elimination game went 2-for-4 with a run scored against Boston University (May 17)… Earned her second consecutive multi-hit outing of the regional in going 2-for-3, smacking her third home run of the postseason to drive in two with a run scored against the Wildcats (May 18)… In the winner-take-all game was 1-for-2 with a run scored and a walk (May 18).
FRESHMAN SEASON (2013)
Garnered 56 starts shared between shortstop (51) and second base (5) en route to NFCA All-South Region Second-Team, All-SEC Second-Team and All-Louisiana First-Team accolades … Only games missed were at Ole Miss (Feb. 13) and versus North Dakota State (Feb. 15) … Second player in program history joining Rachele Fico (2010) to collect the SEC and Louisiana Freshman of the Year awards … Turned in a .347 batting average (60-for-173) to go along with a team-leading 12 home runs and 50 RBIs … The 12 homers were tied for third-best in program history for a single season … The 50 RBIs checked in tied for eighth-highest during a single season in program history and 12th on the SEC leaderboard … Collected 17 multi-hit efforts which was second on the squad along with a team-leading 13 multi-RBI performances … The 13 multi RBI games also were tied for eighth-most in program history for a single season … Was apart of 32 percent of LSU’s runs scored on the season … Hit safely in 38 of 56 games which included 17 of 23 SEC outings … Checked in among the SEC’s Top 15 during league games in six categories which included runs (20 – 6th), total bases (45 – 8th), hits (26 – Tied 9th), RBIs (18 – Tied 9th), slugging percentage (.616 – 10th) and batting average (.356 – 13th) … Was LSU’s opening day starter at second base … Batted third and connected for a sacrifice fly as part of LSU’s five-run first inning and 8-0 victory over No. 22 North Carolina (Feb. 8) … Her first career hit was a single during the fourth inning versus the Tar Heels … Tallied a 2-for-3 performance with two runs scored and two RBIs against Hampton (Feb. 9) … Produced the first of three season’s best six-game hitting streaks (Feb. 15-22) fueled by five multi-hit efforts and five games with RBIs … Knocked her first two career home runs in back-to-back games versus Virginia (Feb. 15 & 16) … Added the game-tying RBI single with two outs during the seventh inning LSU’s 5-4 comeback over Memphis (Feb. 16) … Ripped a RBI single as part of LSU’s six-run third inning and 14-6 victory over No. 14 Michigan (March 2) … Pieced together the second of three six-game hitting streak (March 2-13) … Picked up hits in multiple games of six of LSU’s eight SEC series … Blasted a two-run dinger during the first inning of LSU’s 9-2 series-clinching win at Mississippi State (March 10) … Cranked a leadoff double to ignite LSU’s three-run sixth inning and 3-2 victory over No. 17 Kentucky (March 17) … Nine of her 12 homers and 35 of her 50 RBIs came over LSU’s final 30 games (March 19-May 19) … Notched her first multi-homer contest during game one of a doubleheader against Georgia Southern (March 19), the first LSU player since Anissa Young versus Fordham (Feb. 26, 2011) to accomplish the feat … Belted the game-winning RBI single in game two of the Georgia Southern twinbill (March 19) … Set program record and drove home RBIs in 12 straight games (March 26-April 17) … Smacked a grand slam en route to a career-best four RBIs at No. 25 South Alabama (March 27) … Came away with two hits, two runs scored and two RBIs in first two games at Arkansas (April 5 & 6) … Notched a RBI single during the fifth inning of LSU’s 5-4 comeback win at Arkansas (April 7) … Secured her first career three-hit effort sparked by a solo homer at No. 10 Texas A&M (April 13) … Drew a walk and knocked a RBI single as part of LSU’s seven-run and 10-2 series clinching win at No. 10 Texas A&M (April 14) … Platted what proved to be the game-winning run on a sacrifice fly during the third inning of a 2-1 win over No. 4 Alabama (April 26) … Matched a career-best three hits at Georgia (May 3) … Started all four games of the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional (May 17-19) at shortstop … Went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs during an 11-0 elimination game victory over Central Connecticut State (May 18).
HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year letterwinner for Bobby Diez at Chamberlain High School and one-year letterwinner for Angela Slater at Riverview High School in Florida … Collected Florida’s 2012 Gatorade Player of the Year award … One of 16 players to earn Louisville Slugger/NFCA High School All-America First-Team and one of 30 players to notch ESPNHS All-America status … Listed No. 13 among ESPN’s Top 100 High School Recruits for Class of 2012 … Tallied a .731 batting average to go along with 11 home runs and 35 RBIs as a senior … Four of her 11 homers came during the postseason to lead CHS to 2012 Class 7A state championship … Claimed Tampa Bay Times and Tampa Tribune Player of the Year accolades … Garnered multiple All-District, All-Region and All-State honors during prep career … One of 42 players invited to attend 2010 USA Softball Junior Women’s National Team Camp … President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and member of CHS Art Club … Also lettered in soccer … Plays travel ball for the Tampa Mustangs.

Daughter of Joe and Anne Bell … Born on October 27, 1993 … Has three siblings: Brittany (22), Briana (20) and Joel (16) … Sister, Brittany, played softball at Mississippi State (2008-12) … Sister, Briana, is a redshirt sophomore on MSU team and was a 2011 All-SEC Freshman Team pick … Majoring in sociology with a concentration in criminology.
