SOPHOMORE SEASON (2006)
Made 13 appearances, going a perfect 6-0 on the season … Led the SEC in triples allowed and home runs allowed and ranked in the top 10 in the league in runs allowed (3rd), doubles allowed (3rd), earned runs allowed (4th), hits allowed (5th) and walks allowed (6th) … Recorded three complete-game shutouts with a save … Posted a season-best seven strikeouts in games against Grambling State and Texas Southern … Came on in relief and did not allow and earned run in 2.1 innings against nationally ranked Oregon state … Also threw two innings of shutout relief in a win over nationally ranked Oklahoma … Threw a complete-game one-hitter against Grambling State.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2005)
Made 22 appearances, going 7-5 … Recorded three games with 10 or more strikeouts, which was tied for sixth in the SEC … Threw three complete-game shutouts on the season … Recorded a win over nationally ranked Florida … Threw a complete-game one-hitter against Southern … Action was limited until late in the season after a rib injury during the Purple & Gold Challenge … Struck out a season-best 11 batters against Southern … Also posted 10 strikeouts against Michigan State and Southeastern Louisiana.
