SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Made 49 starts and appeared in 53 games… Posted a .254 average with 35 hits, including a career-high four home runs as part of her 10 extra-base hits this season…Also had 19 RBIs and 10 runs…Totaled four multi-hit and multi-RBI games…At the backstop position, she registered a .997 fielding percentage behind 305 putouts, 23 assists and one error, and caught six players stealing…Matched a career-high three hits twice, first at No. 21/23 Kentucky (March 10) and then at No. 10 Florida (April 7). Also logged a career-high 14 putouts in the same game at Florida…Hit the game-winning two-run single versus Louisiana Tech (March 3) and a game-tying run against Southeastern Louisiana (April 10)…will enter 2025 as the program’s all-time leader with a .996 fielding percentage on 530 chances.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
Started in 32 of the 37 games she appeared in which included 31 starts at the backstop position and one as a designated player… Recorded 18 hits, eight RBIs and seven runs scored … Also drew 11 walks… Hit her first career home run in the Baton Rouge Regional against Prairie View A&M (May 19) … Registered four multi-hit games and had a six-game reach streak and a four-game hitting streak… Tallied two RBIs at UL-Lafayette on a sixth inning single (Feb. 26).
HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year varsity letterwinner at Notre Dame High School …a two-time Louisiana Gatorade Player of the Year and member of the USA Junior Women’s National Team…a three-time Division III All-District and All-State Champion, and also a Max Preps All-American…also awarded All-Acadiana and All-Metro honors…as a senior, Bergeron batted .515 with 16 home runs and 55 RBIs to help lead Notre Dame to a Division III State Championship…as a junior she turned in a .562 batting average with 63 hits, 30 home runs and 78 RBIs … in 2018, she helped her club team Hotshots win the 14U USA Elite Select Championship…in 2019 she helped the Tennessee MOJO win the 16U PGF Championship… in 2020 she helped the Texas Bombers Gold to an 18U Co-Sparkler Championship… ranked as the No. 2 recruit in the country according to Softball America and is ranked T-8th by Extra Inning Softball.
PERSONAL
Born March 1, 2004…daughter of Dain and Ky Bergeron…father played baseball at Texarkana Junior College in 1993-94… plans to major in Kinesiology.
