JUNIOR SEASON (2002)
A beam specialist for the Tigers … Earned all-SEC honors with a second-place finish on the event at the conference championships (9.900) … Scored a 9.900 on the beam two other times during the season, first at Utah and then in the Tiger’s tri-meet with Centenary and Rhode Island … Posted marks of 9.875 on the beam against Alabama and Iowa … Her 9.875 against the Cyclones earned her the first individual title of her career … Averaged a score of 9.713 on the beam in 2002.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2001)
Competed against Kentucky in the season opener before suffering a season-ending knee injury in warm-ups against Georgia in the second meet of the year … Missed the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Made the first performance of her collegiate career a memorable one, returning to her native Georgia and recording a 9.90 on beam to put Georgia on the ropes … Earned All-SEC honors with a third place finish on beam at the SEC Championships, posting a 9.875, the second best mark of her season … Scored a 9.80 against Texas Woman’s University, while adding a 9.825 against Auburn, a 9.775 at the NCAA Regional and a 9.725 at the NCAA Championships.
CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL
Trained with the Georgia All-Star Gymnastic Club…coached by Becky Oppenheimer and Jennie Clark…fourth in all-around at the 1997 Gaspirilla Classic scoring a 37.425…second on beam at 1997 Coca Cola Classic with a 9.45 on the beam.
