Carl St. Cyr serves as associate director of player personnel for the Tigers, working his way up through the organization since originally joining the program as a volunteer student assistant in the football equipment department in August 2017 under Ed Orgeron.
He transitioned into the player personnel department as a student assistant later in 2017 and has remained a part of the staff since. In addition to working in the player personnel department as a student, St. Cyr also served as a coaching student assistant with special teams and tight ends from 2018-19.
Following graduation from LSU in December of 2021, St. Cyr was elevated to a full-time role as player personnel analyst in January 2022 under Brian Kelly. He was promoted to assistant director of player personnel in March 2024 and his most recent role as associate director of player personnel in February 2026 under Lane Kiffin.
St. Cyr, a native of Denham Springs, Louisiana, works alongside LSU Football general manager Billy Glassock as well as personnel staff members Mike Williams, Austin Shelton, Sam Pettito and Will Clouden.
