Three-year starter at Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Arkansas… Started all 12 games as a sophomore and threw for nearly 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns while completing 64 percent of his passes… Followed up an injury-plagued junior season by throwing for 1,500 yards and 18 TDs as a senior … Also punted during his sophomore and senior seasons … Finished high school career with over 4,000 yards passing, 52 TDs and only seven interceptions…Led team to 76 point outburst in senior season vs. Jacksonville High School
