Granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA following the 2007 season … Missed two full seasons with injuries – 2005 and 2006 … Joined the Tigers in 2003 and was a member of two BCS National Championship Teams … Played in 52 games during career, starting 25 times … Finished with 139 tackles, including 26 for losses and 15.5 sacks … Added 37 QB hurries … Graduated in December of 2007 … Signed a free agent contract with the St. Louis Rams a day after the 2009 NFL Draft.

SENIOR SEASON (2008)
Had two senior seasons after being granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA … Played in 13 games for the Tigers in 2008, starting 10 times … Finished with 35 tackles, 5.5 tackles for losses and 2.5 sacks … Had best game of season in road win over Auburn with six tackles, 1.5 tackles for losses and four QB hurries … Had big game in home win over Tulane with eight tackles, one sack and a PBU … Other sacks came vs. South Carolina (.5 for -4 yards) and Arkansas (1 for -3 yards) … Finished with two tackles, one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry against Mississippi State.

Played and started all 14 games at defensive end for the Tigers … Led the Tigers in both sacks (8.0) and tackles for losses (13.5) … Second among LSU defensive linemen in tackles with 68 … Added 14 quarterback hurries and an interception … Earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors following the Virginia Tech game where he led the team with a career-high eight stops … Had six tackles in the win over Alabama, a total that included a career-high three TFL and a career-best two sacks … Against Tulane, led the team with seven tackles … Matched that tackle total versus both Florida and Kentucky … Also picked off the first pass of his career in the win over Florida … Interception against Florida ignited a late LSU rally that saw the Tigers overcome a 10-point deficit in the final 12 minutes to win the contest … LSU scored five plays later to pull to within 24-21 … LSU went on to win that game 28-24 … Capped season with seven tackles, including one sack for a 3-yard loss, in the win over Ohio State.

Redshirted after missing the entire season with a foot injury.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2004)
