One of the top tight ends in the SEC … Played in 12 games with 2 starts … Caught 12 passes for 146 yards as a senior … Started games against Georgia and North Texas … Caught season-long 26-yard pass against Georgia in the SEC title game … Caught 3 passes for 25 yards in win over Florida … Capped career with 2 receptions for 26 yards in win over Miami in Peach Bowl. 

JUNIOR SEASON (2004)
Played in all 12 games with eight starts … Started at tight end in three games and at h-back in five contests … Caught 9 passes for 147 yards and 1 TD for the Tigers … Averaged 16.3 yards per reception … Caught the game-winning TD against Troy on a 30-yard scoring play from JaMarcus Russell with just over 2 minutes left in the contest … Caught 2 passes for 24 yards against Auburn …. Had a 33-yard reception in win over Vanderbilt. 

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2003)
Sophomore who seemed to get better with each game … Played in all 14 games with five starts …  Caught 13 passes for 232 yards and one touchdown … Had three receptions for 54 yards, including a 29-yard catch on a fake field goal attempt, against Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl … Scored on a 37-yard TD pass from Matt Mauck against Arkansas … Finished with two catches for 57 yards and a score in win over the Razorbacks … Followed that with one reception for nine yards against Georgia in the SEC title game … Looked to have another long scoring play vs. the Bulldogs in the SEC title game, but had a pass fall just off his finger tips … Hauled in three passes for 25 yards in win over South Carolina.

Listed as LSU’s No. 3 tight end … Played in 10 games with no starts … Did not record any statistics in 2002.
