Played in 12 games, including the Sugar Bowl, all on special teams for the Tigers … Recorded 9 tackles during the regular season, 6 of which were solo … All 9 tackles came on special teams play … Had season-best 2 tackles vs. Alabama … Named LSU’s Special Teams Player of the Week vs. Middle Tennessee and Auburn.
JUNIOR SEASON (2000)
Developed into a special teams standout … Played in nine games during the regular-season as well as the Peach Bowl … Saw majority of his action on special teams … Did not record any statistics on offense … Named LSU’s Special Teams Player of the Week against UAB after recovering a fumble on a punt in the third quarter … Also recovered a fumble on punt team coverage vs. Kentucky … Had two tackles on special teams – one vs. Florida and one against Mississippi State … Forced a fumble vs. Georgia Tech in the Peach Bowl.
