A three-year starter for LSU and one of the premier receivers in the SEC, Larry Foster finished his career ranked No. 6 in LSU history in receiving yards … Ranked in SEC top 5 in receptions and top 10 in receiving yards as a junior … Had 125 catches for 1,747 yards in career … One of only 7 LSU receivers to catch more than 100 passes in a career … Started every game his first 3 years except the 1996 Kentucky game … Earned a starting berth at flanker in fall of 1996 after missing most of spring drills of that year with a lacerated kidney … Redshirted true freshman season of 1995.

SENIOR SEASON (1999)
Played in the first game of the season against San Jose State, but suffered an injury that kept him out of the North Texas game … Missed the remainder of the season due to suspension from team.

JUNIOR SEASON (1998)
Played and started in all 11 games at flanker in 1998 … Led team in receptions with 56 and was No. 2 on team in receiving yards with 722 … Scored 4 touchdowns … No. 4 in SEC in receptions per game at 5.09 and No. 8 in SEC in receiving yards per game at 65.6 … Also returned 7 punts for 60 yards, an average of 8.6 yards per return … Returned a punt 50 yards for a touchdown to complete the Tigers’ scoring (53-20) vs. Idaho; it was Foster’s first career punt return for a touchdown and the first TD on a punt return for someone other than Kevin Faulk since 1994 (Eddie Kennison) … Best receiving game was at Auburn when he had a career-high 10 catches for 111 yards and a touchdown … Caught 5 passes for a career-high 137 yards and 2 touchdowns vs. Kentucky … Caught 8 passes for 75 yards at Ole Miss … Caught 7 passes each vs. Alabama (81 yards) and at Arkansas (66 yards) … Longest reception of season was 50-yard scoring strike from Herb Tyler at Florida … Saw action on 602 offensive plays from scrimmage, 1 of 7 players with over 600 plays on the year on offense.

Started all 11 games at flanker in 1997 … LSU’s leading receiver with 43 catches for 579 yards and 4 TDs … Also returned punts and kickoffs in 1997 … Returned 11 punts for 40 yards … Had his best career game in start against UTEP, catching 7 passes for 123 yards, including a 32-yard TD … Also carried on a reverse for 11 yards … Led Tigers again in receiving at MSU, with 7 catches for 81 yards, while also returning 3 punts in the stead of Kevin Faulk for 9 yards … Caught 3 passes for 48 yards vs. Auburn … Both of his catches vs. Akron were touchdowns, from 38 and 14 yards … Caught the Tigers’ lone TD, a 13-yard pass, against Vanderbilt … Hauled in 3 passes for 29 yards against Florida … 4 catches for 34 yards vs. Ole Miss … Led Tigers with 5 receptions for 61 yards at Kentucky … 4 catches, 45 yards vs. Notre Dame in regular season.

Named a receiver on the Freshman All-SEC Team by the Knoxville News Sentinel … Finished season strong and was team’s No. 2 receiver in 1996 with 26 catches for 446 yards and 4 touchdowns … Trailed only All-American tight end David LaFleur in number of receptions … Led team in receiving yards and touchdown catches … Started 10 games at flanker, the first 5 and the last 5 … Had 2 games with 4 catches: vs. Vanderbilt, at Arkansas … Did not play in Kentucky game, serving suspension for missing team meeting … Returned to action vs. Miss.
