CAREER
Played final season at LSU, earning unanimous All-America honors at cornerback … Became just the 14th unanimous All-America in LSU history and the first at cornerback since Greedy Williams in 2018 … First-Team All-SEC in 2025 as well as being one of 3 finalists for the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation’s top defensive back … Transferred to LSU in January of 2025 after 3 seasons at Virginia Tech … Started 29 straight games in the secondary for the Hokies from 2022-2024 … For career, appeared in 44 games with 40 starts … 191 total tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, 41 passes defended, 33 pass breakups, and 8 interceptions … In 1 season at LSU, played and started 11 games finishing with 45 tackles, 13 passes defended, 11 pass breakups and 2 interceptions … Finished No. 2 in the SEC in passes defended … Younger brother Faheem Delane signed with LSU in January of 2026 after playing his true freshman season at Ohio State.

Earned unanimous All-America honors and first-team All-SEC recognition in his only season with the Tigers … Appeared and started 11 games, recording 45 tackles, 13 passes defended, 11 pass breakups and 2 interceptions … Ranked No. 2 in the SEC in passes defended … Transfer from Virginia Tech who made an immediate impact on the LSU defense, helping the Tigers rank No. 3 in the SEC pass efficiency … The Tigers also led the SEC in interceptions (17) and finished No. 2 in the league in both passes defended (69) and pass breakups (52) … LSU was the only team in the SEC to have more interceptions (17) than touchdown passes allowed (14) … Made his mark as a lock-down cornerback for the Tigers with opponents rarely throwing in his direction … In 358 pass coverage snaps, allowed only 13 receptions all season for 147 yards and six first downs … Didn’t’ allow a passing touchdown and was targeted only 9.8 percent of the time … Opponents had a completion percentage success rate of 37.1 percent on passes thrown in his direction … Had career-best 11 tackles at Ole Miss … Interceptions came in the season-opener at Clemson and against Arkansas … Tied career-high with 3 passes defended against Clemson and Arkansas … Did not play in LSU’s bowl game against Houston.
JUNIOR SEASON (2024 at Virginia Tech)
Started all 12 regular-season games … Tallied 54 tackles, 11 pass breakups and 4 interceptions … Earned third-team All-ACC honors … Season-high 9 tackles in win over Boston College … Set a career-best with 3 passes defended (2 pass breakups, 1 interception) in win over Marshal … Other interceptions came against Old Dominion, Syracuse and Virginia … Also forced a fumble at Syracuse … Had 8 tackles in win over Georgia Tech and 7 vs. Miami.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023 at Virginia Tech)
Started all 13 games … Recorded 54 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and an interception … Season-high 8 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss against North Carolina State … Had 5 tackles and an interception in win over Virginia … Had 7 tackles in Military Bowl win over Tulane.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2022 at Virginia Tech)
Played in 8 games with 4 starts … Made collegiate debut at North Carolina on Oct. 1 … Had 2 tackles, including 1 for a loss, on his first 2 collegiate snaps … Earned honorable mention All-ACC honors and was tabbed a True Freshman All-America by 247Sports.
