SOPHOMORE SEASON (2000)
Had one of the best years for a wide receiver in school history in his first full season at the position … Didn’t disappoint in 2000 as he caught 65 passes for 1,127 yards and 10 touchdowns … The 1,127 yards and 10 TDs rank second in LSU history for a single-season while the 65 receptions rank third … Led the SEC with 102.5 yards receiving a contest and ranked second in the league with 5.91 catches a contest … Tied a school-record with six 100-yard receiving games … Saved best results for the big games as he caught 53 passes for 861 yards and nine touchdowns in SEC action … Caught eight passes for a career-best 173 yards, the eighth-highest single-game total at LSU, against Ole Miss … Had 10 receptions for 113 yards and one touchdown vs. Mississippi State … Had seven receptions, including three for touchdowns, for 146 yards against Tennessee … Scored on a 75-yard TD pass against Auburn and had a 53-yard touchdown reception vs. Tennessee … In all, 6-of-10 TD receptions were at least 31-yards … Caught at least seven passes in seven games … Capped outstanding season with nine receptions for 96 yards and one TD in win over Georgia Tech in Peach Bowl … The nine receptions tied an LSU bowl record … Had magnificent 9-yard TD reception in fourth quarter vs. Georgia Tech that gave the Tigers the lead for good at 17-14.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (1999)
One of the most versatile Tigers on offense … Played three different positions for the Tigers (running back, wide receiver, return specialist) … Participated in seven games and started at flanker against Houston … Saw action in first three games at running back and final four games at wide receiver … Ranked sixth on the team with 213 all-purpose yards … Had a career-high six carries for 58 yards and a score against North Texas … Also had eight receptions for 134 yards on the season (16.8 average) … Returned a kickoff for 21 yards against North Texas.
