Emerged as a starter along side Chad Lavalais at the other defensive tackle spot over the last 4 games of season … Started in place of an injured Chad Lavalais vs. Middle Tennessee and responded with 2 sacks and 6 tackles … Started again vs. Arkansas, this time alongside Lavalais and had 3 tackles, one for a loss … Had 4 tackles vs. Auburn in third straight start … Also forced 1 fumble vs. MTSU … Has played in all 12 games … During the regular season, had 38 tackles, 5 going for losses to his credit … Had 3 sacks (2 vs. MTSU, 1 vs. Miss. State) … Drafted in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.
