Emerged as one of the top pitchers in the Southeastern Conference during his two seasons at LSU (2007, 2008) … was extremely valuable both as a starter and reliever, as he posted 20 wins and 10 saves in two seasons … came to LSU after two seasons at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, Ala. … the 21st-round selection of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft … selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 18th round of the 2008 draft … rated the No. 23 JUCO prospect in 2006 by Baseball America.

SENIOR SEASON (2008)
Recipient of the 2008 LSU Baseball Skip Bertman Award as the Tigers’ most inspirational player … led the SEC in wins with 10; was also No. 2 in the league in innings pitched (98.1), No. 5 in strikeouts (90) and No. 6 in saves (5) … pitched very effectively in two College World Series outings, allowing six runs on 11 hits in 12.1 innings with four walks and 15 strikeouts  . . . worked 6.2 innings in a CWS starting role vs. Rice (June 17), surrendering five run on seven hits with two walks and 10 strikeouts … came back on just one day’s rest to pitch in relief against North Carolina (June 19), limiting the Tar Heels to just one run on four hits in 5.2 innings with two walks and five strikeouts . . . pitched six innings in NCAA Super Regional start against UC Irvine (June 8), allowing seven runs on 10 hits with no walks and two strikeouts . . . picked up a save in LSU’s NCAA Baton Rouge Regional championship-game win over Southern Miss (June 1), allowing one earned run on four hits in three innings with one walk and one strikeout …. named SEC Pitcher of the Week on May 5 after earning a win and two saves in three appearances in SEC sweep at Kentucky (May 3-4) …fired LSU’s first complete game of the season on March 30 at Florida as he limited the Gators three runs on nine hits with one walk and two strikeouts (121 pitches) … relief win over Alabama (April 4) — 5.1 scoreless innings, three hits, no BB, one K … relief win over Arkansas on March 21 – no runs on three hits in three IP with no walks and two Ks … recorded nine Ks in five innings at Tennessee (March 14), but was charged with the loss.

JUNIOR SEASON (2007)
Appeared in 23 games (11 starts), posting a 10-4 record and a 4.41 ERA with five saves … worked 96 innings, recording 16 walks and 81 strikeouts … 7-3 record in SEC games with three saves; recorded either a win or a save in 10 of LSU’s 12 conference victories … tied for No.1 in the SEC in regular-season victories (10) with Vanderbilt’s David Price and Casey Weathers … named second-team All-SEC and second-team ABCA All-South Region … also voted Louisiana Pitcher of the Year and Newcomer of the Year by the Louisiana Sportswriters Association … a member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll as a general studies major … posted two wins in series at third-ranked Arkansas (May 4-6) — earned a relief win on Friday night and a victory as a starter on Sunday … Bradford fired 39 pitches in three innings on May 4 as LSU recorded a 6-5 win … he registered no walks and three strikeouts and worked a perfect ninth inning after the Tigers had broken a 5-5 tie in the top of the frame … Bradford returned to the mound as a starter on May 6, throwing 85 pitches in five innings of work … he limited Arkansas to two runs on six hits with no walks and two strikeouts … Bradford threw a total of 124 pitches in the two victories as Arkansas as he improved to 7-1 in SEC games … fired his first complete game in an LSU uniform April 29 vs. Tennessee, limiting the Vols to two runs on eight hits with no BB and 8 Ks … named a Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week after a 13-strikeout outing against Lipscomb; worked 7.1 innings, allowing two runs on three hits with one walk.

JUNIOR COLLEGE
Pitched for two seasons as the top hurler at Shelton State Community College … an all-state, all-tournament and all-conference selection during both seasons … had, arguably, the best numbers of any JUCO pitcher as a sophomore … led all of the JUCO ranks in ERA in 2006 (0.63) … maintained a stretch of allowing only one run in 45 innings of work in 2006 and finished with a 7-1 record … held opponents to a .189 batting average … carried a 30-inning shutout streak into the Alabama Community College State Tournament as a sophomore … only loss in 2006 came against fourth-ranked Gulf Coast (Fla.) Community College … a 2006 third-team JUCO all-American selection … posted eight wins as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year letterwinner at Hueytown High School … for his career, compiled a 24-13 record with a 2.08 ERA in 236.2 innings of work and 206 strikeouts … received all-metro and all-state honors after working a team-high 90.1 innings as a senior and maintaining a 9-4 record to go with a 1.16 ERA … fanned 104 batters as a senior … coached by Rick Patterson.
