• Posted a 3-3 record, six saves and a 2.94 ERA in 22 appearances (two starts) … worked 52 innings with 12 walks, 60 strikeouts and a .226 opponent batting average
• Finished No. 9 in the SEC in saves with six this season … five of Cowan’s six saves came in SEC regular-season games, and he had eight walks and 34 strikeouts in 30.2 league innings
• Pitched brilliantly in starting role vs. Arkansas in College World Series (June 16), working 5.1 innings and allowing just one run on four hits, no walks and six strikeouts
• Earned relief win over Arkansas (May 9), firing 3.0 shutout innings with two hits, two walks and three strikeouts

High School: A starting varsity player for four years, Cowan helped Blythewood High School to a region championship in 2021 as a junior… With a .346 average and .495 OBP plus 20 stolen bases, he earned Region Player of Year, a gold glove award, All-Region and All-State selections.
