2021 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll

Pitched for LSU during the 2021 season as a true freshman, but elected to leave the program after the season … a polished pitcher with three pitches he commands very well … named to the 2021 SEC First-Year Academic Honor Roll as a communication studies major … a member of the Canadian National Baseball Team since his sophomore year who has pitched in big games and on big stages all over the world … Millas was the first Canadian coach Paul Mainieri recruited to LSU … the previous two Canadian pitchers that Mainieri had recruited (to Notre Dame), Ryan Dempster and John Axford, both spent several years in the major leagues … Millas is a tough competitor who also played hockey until he was 14 years old.

2021 Season
Made 11 relief appearances, posting a 1-0 record and a 3.00 ERA in 15 innings with four walks and six strikeouts … credited with a win over UT San Antonio on March 14 after firing a perfect relief inning, needing only five pitches … recorded a season-long outing of 2.2 innings versus Oral Roberts (March 5), allowing one run on three hits with one strikeout.

The No. 199 ranked player by Perfect Game … named a 2019 Under Armour All-American … posted a 4-0 mark in 2019 with a 0.21 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 27 innings while allowing only six hits … also played hockey (center) and soccer (striker) in high school.

Yes, the baseball is extremely competitive and is the best program one could go to, but the school aspect was also a big interest of mine.
