• As a senior at Ouachita Christian High School, he recorded 27.1 innings, nine walks, 55 strikeouts, and a 1.02 ERA … helped lead Ouachita Christian to state titles in 2019 and 2021, and he earned all-state, all-parish, all-region and all-district recognition
• Named to the 2021 LHSAA All-State Academic Team with an overall GPA of 3.92 … also played outside linebacker and tight end for his high school football team, and he competed for the track and field squad in the 400m, 4x400m, 4x100m and pole vault
