2025 Season (at LSU)
• Posted a 2-0 mark with a 4.80 ERA in 17 relief appearances … allowed just four hits in 15.0 total innings, logging 20 walks and 26 strikeouts while limiting opponents to a .085 batting average
• Earned College World Series relief win vs. Arkansas (June 18) after striking out the final two Razorback hitters in the top of the ninth; LSU won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning with a walk-off single by first baseman Jared Jones
• Recorded 11 strikeouts while allowing just one run on two hits in 7.0 innings pitched over eight appearances from April 11-May 31
• Pitched 2.1 scoreless innings in SEC Tournament vs. Ole Miss (May 24), with no hits, no walks and four strikeouts

2024 Season (at Nicholls): Followed up a stellar freshman campaign with a Southland-leading 106 strikeouts and a .165 opponent batting average…ranked third in the NCAA in hits per nine (4.97) and 15th in Ks per nine (13.50) … posted a 5-1 record with a 4.58 ERA in 70.2 innings, fanned a season-high 12 batters against New Orleans in 6.1 innings, and had 10 Ks against Southeastern and Lamar… Mayers struck out an SLC-best 60 batters with a .150 average in league play…named to the ABCA/Rawlings All-South Region Second Team.
2023 Season (at Nicholls): Put together a decorated rookie campaign, earning five Freshman All-American honors… named Freshman Pitcher of the Year by both Collegiate Baseball and NCBWA… earned All-Southland First Team and Southland Freshman of the Year… also garnered LSWA All-Louisiana and Freshman of the Year, ABCA/Rawlings All-South Region, and was a College Baseball Foundation Pitcher of the Year Semifinalist… named Southland All-Tournament and Tuscaloosa Regional All-Tournament… finished with a 9-1 record, a 2.02 ERA and 105 strikeouts… finished with the fourth-most strikeouts in program history for a single season… allowed only 44 hits in 75.2 innings pitched for a .175 opponent batting average… struck out a season-high 11 batters in his win over Louisiana Tech and closed out his freshman season with eight strikeouts in 5.2 innings against Alabama in the NCAA Regionals.
High School: Starting pitcher for St. Amant High School … named LCBA 5A All-State, All-Region 8 and All-Parish as a senior after helping St. Amant to a 28-6 record in the regular season… Gators reached the Class 5A title game for the first time since 2004… defeated defending champion Barbe along the way, helped by his 10 strikeout performance in the opening win.
Personal: Born June 10, 2004, in Baton Rouge … parents are Chad and Allison Mayers … father is a physical therapist, mother is a teacher … on deciding to attend LSU: “Being from Louisiana and going to LSU games, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to play here and develop into a better baseball player” … majoring in sport administration at LSU.
