2023 Season
• Pitched very effectively in 10 relief appearances before suffering a season-ending elbow injury on April 7 at South Carolina
• Posted a 4-0 record and a 1.93 ERA in 23.1 innings with five walks, 27 strikeouts and a .184 opponent batting average
• Earned a relief win over Tennessee on March 30, as he fired 1.2 scoreless innings with two hits, no walks and two strikeouts
• Pitched in both games of March 25 doubleheader vs. Arkansas, working a total of 4.2 scoreless innings and allowing just two hits with one walk and eight strikeouts
• Earned win in relief outing at Texas A&M (March 18), pitching 3.1 innings and limiting the Aggies to one run on three hits with three walks and five strikeouts
• Posted relief win vs. New Orleans (March 14) with 3.2 perfect innings, including five strikeouts
• Earned save vs. Lamar (March 8) with 3.2 scoreless innings, allowing two hits with no walks and two strikeouts
• Recorded the win in Feb. 26 victory over Sam Houston, as he pitched 3.1 effective relief innings … Edwards limited the Bearkats to one run on four hits with no walks and one strikeout
2022 Season
Pitched in nine games (one start), posting no decisions and a 6.75 ERA in 8.0 innings with five walks and nine strikeouts … worked 1.1 shutout innings at New Orleans (April 26) with no hits, one walk and two strikeouts … fired 2.0 scoreless innings versus Towson (Feb. 25), allowing one hit with no walks and one strikeout.
2021 Season
Appeared in 24 games (two starts), posting a 2-2 record and a 3.41 ERA in 37 innings with 13 walks and 34 strikeouts …. superb relief effort vs. Central Connecticut (June 5) in the NCAA Eugene Regional, firing five shutout innings and allowing two hits with no walks and four strikeouts … registered two shutout relief innings at Texas A&M (May 21), allowing two hits with one walk and three strikeouts … earned save at Auburn (May 6), firing 2.1 shutout innings with one hit and one walk … blanked top-ranked Arkansas in three relief innings on May 1, helping to boost LSU to a 5-4 victory … started the sixth inning and blanked the Razorbacks through the eighth inning, retiring nine of the 10 batters he faced … allowed just one hit with no walks and two strikeouts, throwing 43 pitches – 28 for strikes … recorded career-best five strikeouts in 3.2 relief innings vs. South Carolina (April 17) … earned third save of the season April 10 at Kentucky, retiring the side in order in the bottom of the 9th to preserve an 8-6 win … credited with win as starting pitcher vs. McNeese State (April 6), firing two scoreless innings with two hits, no walks and three strikeouts … earned save vs. Southeastern Louisiana (March 16), retiring the side in order in the ninth inning to preserve a 10-7 win … recorded a scoreless ninth vs. UTSA (March 12) with one strikeout to earn save in 3-1 LSU win … impressive relief outing at UL Lafayette (Feb. 24), as he worked three innings and allowed one run on three hits with one walk and four strikeouts.

2019 Louisiana Class B Player of the Year in both baseball and basketball … finished his high school basketball career as the 29th all-time leading scorer in the nation … a three-time 1st Team All-State selection in baseball and a member of the Southwest Louisiana All-Decade Team … posted an 11-1 mark on the mound in 2019 with a 0.46 ERA, 95 strikeouts and five walks in 75 innings, leading Pitkin High to the state championship … his high school baseball coach was former LSU player J.C. Holt, an All-America performer who was an infielder/outfielder for the Tigers from 2002-04 … Edwards was also a four-time 1st Team All-State selection in basketball and the Southwest Louisiana MVP of the Decade in basketball.

Then, finally getting the opportunity to play for the best team and fans in the country – there was no way to pass it up. I am very humbled and blessed to play for the Tigers” … born January 3, 2002.
