Played in 19 games (two starts in right field) as a true freshman, batting .263 (5-for-19) with one double, nine RBI and three runs scored … 2-for-2 with a double and three RBI vs. Central Connecticut State (March 4) … collected two RBI as a pinch hitter in the Tigers’ season-opening series vs. Western Michigan (Feb. 17-19).

Ranked as the No. 1 catcher and the No. 2 overall player in the state of Louisiana by Perfect Game … No. 12 ranked catcher in the nation by Perfect Game … batted .487 as a senior at Rosepine High with 13 homers, 39 hits, 37 walks and only 12 strikeouts … posted a .487 on-base percentage and a 1.188 slugging percentage … also played quarterback for the Rosepine High football team.
