FRESHMAN SEASON (2020) – Season was cut short due to the coronavirus
Appeared in three games this season both as a pitcher and as a batter… She recorded two plate appearances and added her first career hit against Sam Houston State (February 22) … Made her first appearance in the circle against Florida A&M on Feb. 9 and recorded a strikeout… Pitched two innings on the year with her second appearance coming on Feb. 22 against Sam Houston State.

High School
A utility player and four-year letterwinner from Caldwell Parish High School in Columbia, Louisiana… In her senior outing she led her team to the State Championship game where she earned the State Championship MVP title… During this season she hit .505 recording 15 doubles, 5 triples, 19 homeruns, 59 RBI and 8 stolen bases… In her high school career she was a four-year First Team All-District, and a two-time First Team All-State player… Led her team to a Class 3A State Championship in 2017, along with being named First Team All-District, 3A All-State and the Class 3A State Championship MVP… During that season she hit .535, 42 runs, 61 hits, 17 doubles, five triples and 10 home runs, this was accompanied by a 1.008 slugging percentage and 24 stolen bases… In the circle she was 11-0 with a 1.09 earned run average and 128 strikeouts in 96 innings pitched. During her freshman season, she was named First Team All-District as a pitcher and hit .321 with nine doubles and two homeruns… She went 3-1 in the circle with 30 strikeouts and a 1.58 ERA… Along with these accomplishments, she was also a three-time Honor Roll honoree, two-year All Academic, Honors Graduate, a member of National Honor Society, BETA Club, Geocaching Club and Crossfire Christian Club… She played for the Marucci Patriots of Louisiana travel ball team where they recorded Top 5 finishes in the JO Cup, Canada Cup and the Colorado Sparkler.

Full name is Victoria Rose Abrams, born on April 23 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana… Parents are John and Dallas Abrams and Crystal Updike… Siblings JD, Isabella, Rebekah, Case, Cameron and Clara… Brother JD is currently playing football at Southern Arkansas… Planning to major in Child and Family Studies.
