#38 Zachary Murray Season 2024

Made two relief appearances for LSU in 2021 and elected to leave the program after the season … a very confident, competitive pitcher who is extremely athletic with a very fast arm … has an up-tempo, quick, athletic delivery and all of his pitches have lots of late action … performed at a high level in high school and on the national circuit with the East Cobb (Ga.) Astros, where he was teammate with fellow LSU freshman pitcher Blake Money.

2021 Season
Pitched in two games out of the bullpen, working one inning with no runs on one hit, two walks and no strikeouts.

Prior to LSU
The No. 263 ranked player in the country by Perfect Game … posted a career 19-2 high school record on the mound, including 10 complete-game shutouts … a four-year letterman at Lanier High … voted first-team All-Region in his high school senior year.
