SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The LSU Lady Tigers golf team, ranked 23rd in the Golfweek/Sagarin ratings, concludes its fall slate at The Alamo Invitational beginning Sunday at The Briggs Ranch Golf Club.

Joining LSU and host UTSA in the field are Arkansas, Auburn, Texas A&M, Tulane, SMU, Florida State, Texas, Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma, TCU, Texas State and Teach Tech.

The past couple of years scores have been low in the event and then-LSU senior Lindsay Gahm won the event on the par 72, 6,248 yards with an 11-under 205 with rounds of 68-68-69. Oklahoma won the event with a tournament record 24-under par last year 840 (278-286-276).

“We are looking forward to this event,” said LSU Coach Karen Bahnsen. “We really enjoy this course and have done very well on it and hope to continue that Sunday. Our players like playing here and the scores show that.”

Mandeville junior Elise Bradley is ranked 42nd in the Golfweek rankings after three tournaments and has played very well posting an even par total over her last six rounds and she will lead the LSU lineup for the event. Also in the top 100 in the country early on are two other LSU players — Swedish senior Madelene Sagstrom (56) and Denmark sophomore Caroline Nistrup (97).
