SENIOR SEASON (2016-17)
Finished her career by returning after missing most of her junior season with wrist surgery by leading the team in stroke average at 73.17 (seventh lowest all time) … Finished her career with 98 rounds played and a four-year average of 73.03, third lowest in the history of LSU women’s golf … Advanced to the NCAA Regionals posting rounds of 72-76-76 to finish +8 in her final college event … Finished T10 in her first event back, the Schooner Fall Classic, posting -2 on rounds of 69-70-72 – 211 (par 71) … Had a stretch of 11 straight rounds late in the year from the second round of the LSU Tiger Golf Classic to the first round of the NCAA Regionals posting no round higher than 75 in that period and eight rounds of par or lower … Shot 216 (even – 71-70-75) in the PING/ASU Invitational and had her 11th top 10 finish when she was second in the CCLA Spring Break at -2 142 (72-70) … Shot -3 213 (73-72-68) to finish T13 in the SEC Championships … Had 43 career rounds of par or under … 7 career top 5s.
JUNIOR SEASON (2015-16)
Junior season cut short after two events with a wrist injury that needed surgery … In her first two tournaments, the Mason Rudolph and ANNIKA Intercollegiate, averaged 73.33 for the six rounds before withdrawing in the first round of the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel … Posted even par 216 in the Mason Rudolph, T17 … For career of 69 rounds, 31 rounds of par or under, 6 top 5 and 9 top 10 finishes, with a career average of 72.97, now second all-time behind the 72.95 of Madelene Sagstrom, who turned pro in 2016.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014-15)
Second on the team in stroke average at 72.41 and has the best career average after two years (63 rounds of 72.94) … Improved her stroke average by over one stroke from her freshman season … Five top 10 finishes, nine for her career … Advanced through to the final round of the individual competition in the NCAA Championships, finishing T12 at 8-over par 296 form a field of 132 … Won her first collegiate tournament when she tied with teammate Madelene Sagstrom at the Allstate Sugar Bowl in New Orleans … Shot 4-under 212 (71-70-71) … Finished second in The Alamo Invitational at 11-under 205 (66-70-69) and T2 at the NCAA Raleigh Regional at 2-under 214 (71-73-70) … Only two rounds of 34 over 76 and posted 17 rounds of par or under (29 in two seasons) … Home country finished seventh in the 2015 European Ladies Amateur Team Championship.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2013-14)
Second on the team in stroke average at 73.55, earning All-SEC First Team and All-SEC Freshman team honors, while being named Freshman of the Year on the state’s women’s golf team … Played in all 29 rounds … Had best aggregate round of the year of 65 in middle round of Schooner Fall Classic, finishing fourth at even par 210 … Shot -4 212 (73-67-72) to finished T3 at Tar Heel Invitational and finished three tourney run by going -3 213 (71-71-71) at The Alamo Invitational to finish T7 … Home country finished in 11th in 2014 European Women’s Amateur Team Event in Slovenia.
PRIOR TO LSU
Caroline has been a member of the Danish National Team since 2007 and is currently ranked No. 3 in Denmark as she comes to LSU … Captured one international tournament title in 2012 with three second places and 10 top 10 placements … Won the Harder German Junior events in 2012 with rounds of 69-66-70 for an 11-under score, while this year was first in the DGU Elite Tournament posting rounds of 64-74-67 for a 12-under score … Third in the 2013 Danish International Ladies Amateur Championship … Has played five times on Denmark’s team in the European Team Championships with 2013 team placing fifth … Also in 2012, played at the World Amateur Team Championship.
