“This was a good meet for us after having such a long break and it was just nice to get back into action again,” said LSU head coach Jeff Cavana. “The meet with Kentucky is huge because it is a conference meet and it is a big rivalry as well. We would like to finish up strong here at home before heading to the SEC Championships in a few weeks,” Cavana said.

The men are now 5-4 on the season while the women are 8-4 overall. LSU returns to conference action on Saturday when they face the Kentucky Wildcats at noon at the LSU Natatorium in the final home meet of the season. LSU will honor 11 seniors in a ceremony beginning at approximately 11:30 a.m.
