Competed in every regular-season meet for the Tigers and swam in the Southeastern Conference Championships for the fourth-straight time in his career … Swam in several freestyle events, the butterfly, and the freestyle and medley relays during the season … Swam the eighth-fastest time in the 50-yard freestyle (21.16) during the season for the Tigers at the SEC Championships … Had the fifth-best mark in the 100-yard free (46.08) which he also swam at the SEC’s … Swam the Tigers’ fourth-best time in the 200 free (1:43.49) at the 2002 Nike Cup Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. in November 2002 … Swam LSU’s fifth-best time in the 500 free (4:49.73) in a dual-conference meet against Tennessee … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the second-straight season and second time in his career … Finalist for the H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Award and will receive a $5,000 post-graduate scholarship award in connection with the McWhorter nomination.

JUNIOR SEASON (2001-02)
Was a consistent performer for the third year in a row, as he swam in every meet during the season and also appeared at the Southeastern Conference Championships for the third time in his career … Swam in each the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle events during the season … Had the Tigers’ third-best time in the 100-yard freestyle as he swam the event in a time of 45.98 at the SEC Championships … Also has the third-fastest time in the 200-yard freestyle (1:41.54) at the Nike Cup Invitational … Was part of LSU’s fastest team in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:22.65) and the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:02.01) at the Nike Cup … Member of the top 800-yard freestyle relay squad for LSU during the season with a time of 6:40.37 at the SEC Championships … Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for the first time in his career … Earned his third varsity letter.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2000-01)
Finished fourth at the Swedish National Championships in the 200-yard freestyle competition … Traveled to the Southeastern Conference Championships for the second-straight season and competed in the 50 and 200-yard freestyle competitions … Earned the team’s second-fastest times of the season in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle events … Vital component of the Tigers’ freestyle relay events and has excellent relay exchanges … Named to the SEC Honor Roll by maintaining a 3.578 overall grade point average … Earned the LSU Academic Excellence Award which is given to the member of the team with the highest GPA … Made the Dean’s List in both the fall of 2000 and the spring of 2001 … Earned his second varsity letter.

FRESHMAN SEASON (1999-00)
Competed at the Southeastern Conference Championships as a freshman in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyle events … Placed 17th in the 200 freestyle, 29th in the 100 freestyle and 34th in the 50-yard freestyle competition … Finished the season with the Tigers’ third-fastest times in both the 100 and 200-yard freestyle events … Member of LSU’s top freestyle relay teams which recorded the best times of the season in both the 400 (2:58.39) and 800-yard (6:39.27) relay competitions … Earned his first varsity letter.

PRIOR TO LSU
Member of the Swedish Senior National team at the World Cup Championships … Swedish National champion in the 100﷓meter freestyle event … Won the bronze medal for his performance on the 400﷓meter freestyle relay team at the European Junior Championships … Won two gold medals and two silver medals at the Luxembourg Open.
