Parking Policies

CLOSED STREETS
North Stadium Drive, South Stadium Drive and West Stadium Drive (next to Tiger Stadium) will be closed to all vehicular traffic on gamedays. Skip Bertman Drive between Nicholson Drive and the railroad tracks will be closed for approximately 45 minutes postgame to allow pedestrian movement. Additionally, Nicholson Drive between North Stadium Drive and South Stadium Drive will be closed postgame. These road closures are denoted on the LSU Football Gameday Parking map and Waze Live Map.

DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS
Automobiles & motor homes may park only in designated areas. No parking is permitted on roots of trees or under drip lines of tree branches.

INCLEMENT WEATHER
LSU Athletics reserves the right to adjust parking based on weather and lot conditions.

NEUTRAL GROUND (MEDIAN PARKING)
Parking of vehicles on the neutral ground (medians) and on landscaped areas on LSU Campus (including on Nicholson Drive) is NOT permitted. Violators will be towed.

NICHOLSON DRIVE PARKING
Vehicles may NOT park along the shoulders of Nicholson Drive between West Chimes and Brightside for football games. Vehicles that park in these areas will be towed. Tailgating may take place along Nicholson Drive, however, personal vehicles may not park next to the street.

NO PARKING AREAS
Parts of campus are deemed as “No Parking” areas to fans, designated by “No Parking” signs. These areas are strictly enforced. Vehicles should stay confined within the white lines of a legitimate parking space or risk being towed. Fans should refrain from parking in other areas unless directed by Police or Parking Services personnel.

OVERNIGHT DECALS
Fans may purchase an Overnight Decal for their vehicle or trailer to park in the reserved street parking area. Fans may purchase decals online at LSUtix.net approximately one month prior to each individual home game. Those vehicles parked in the area without an Overnight Decal after the start of sales are subject to being towed.

OVERSIZED VEHICLE PARKING 
LSU Athletics defines an oversized vehicle as any vehicle other than a motor home more than 20 feet long and/or 7 feet wide. Oversized vehicles will be directed to Lot 407. Visit LSUsports.net/gameday for more information on the location of Lot 407. Parking spaces are not guaranteed and are available on a first-come, first serve basis. Oversized vehicles may park in reserved parking lots only with the permission of LSU Athletics Administration.

SAVING SPACES
Saving parking spaces for other motorists is not permitted in any area.

SPACES FOR VEHICLES ONLY
Reserved parking spaces are for vehicles only. The purchase and use of a parking pass for other reasons, such as port-o-lets, trailers, tents, chairs, cookers, generators, etc., is not permitted. Violators are subject to removal.

RAILROAD
A live railroad track runs adjacent to Nicholson Drive through the LSU campus. Vehicles are prohibited from parking adjacent to these tracks.

ADA Parking

ADA PARKING – FREE
Free ADA parking is located the back of Lot 406, behind Tiger Park and next to the LSU Soccer Stadium. Entry to this lot can be found off of Gourrier Avenue. There are a limited number of spaces available. This area is available on a first come, first served basis on gameday. The lot is accessible by presenting a valid state issued ADA parking permit and/or valid ADA driver’s license to the traffic officers on site. A shuttle is provided to and from Tiger Stadium. See Shuttle Information below.

SHUTTLE INFORMATION
Shuttle service will be provided and details will be updated each week prior to home games on LSUsports.net/gameday. Pickup location will be in Lot 406. The drop off location will be in Lot 101 and the the postgame pick up location will be in front of Nicholson Gateway. Shuttles will be available throughout the game until approximately 90 minutes after the game for return service to Lot 406.

Oversized Vehicles

BUS/LIMOUSINE PARKING
Bus/Limousine parking can be found in Lot 407 on gameday. Please refer to the Reserved Gameday parking map located on the LSUsports.net/parking for Buses/Limousines (B/L) parking. Motor homes are not allowed in this area. Parking spaces are not guaranteed and are available on a first-come, first serve basis. B/L should approach campus on Nicholson Drive or River Road and may NOT pass through campus before or after the game, those traveling in B/L must meet at their vehicle.

TRAILER PARKING
There is a per game charge to park trailers in the reserved street parking area located in Lot 314 west of Highland Road and in the South Stadium area. Trailers parked in parking spaces within the colored area of the map and common areas adjacent to the colored area are subject to a per game charge. Trailers should not exceed the size limit of a normal parking space. This area is indicated on the Non-Reserved Gameday parking map located on the LSUsports.net/parking. Utility trailers are not permitted to occupy parking spaces and/or park in any reserved lots.

LSU Athletics has developed a custom Waze gameday traffic map. The live map on desktop, mobile web browsers or the Waze App provide real time information for traveling to and from campus.

CAMPUS POSTGAME GAMEDAY MAP, DIRECTIONS & ROUTES
LSU Police and local Law Enforcement Agencies have collaborated to provide support for motorists driving to and from Tiger Stadium for LSU football games. To report traffic problems, call LSU Police at (225) 578-3231. Visit LSUsports.net/parking and follow @LSUGameops on X (formerly Twitter) for the latest and most up-to-date information and directions.

Below are suggested driving directions from Interstate 10 to LSU venues and events on and off-campus.

Directions Approaching Campus

From the North
If approaching the stadium from the north, use either River Road, Nicholson Drive, Highland Road or Dalrymple Drive. From these routes, parking will be available north of the stadium, on Nicholson Drive near the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse, at Kirby Smith Residence Hall lots off Aster and Roosevelt Streets, or at the Pleasant Hall lots on Dalrymple Drive.

From the East or South
If approaching the stadium from east or south, use either College Drive, Acadian/Stanford exit, Highland Road or Burbank Drive and Nicholson Drive. Parking for those using these routes is available on Gourrier Lane south of the stadium, off River Road near the Mississippi River and or additional lots east of the stadium in the vicinity of the John M. Parker Coliseum.

From South on Nicholson/Burbank
Fans coming from the south on Nicholson Drive or Burbank Drive will be routed to Gourrier Lane, then to River Road.

One-Way Traffic to Stadium
(90 minutes prior to kickoff)

Approximately 90 minutes prior to kickoff, police will direct one-way traffic only toward Tiger Stadium on Highland Road from Lee Drive, on West Lakeshore Drive from Stanford, on Nicholson Drive Extension from Parker Boulevard and on Dalrymple Drive from the I-10 overpass.

Exiting Campus

Going South
After the game, southbound traffic from the stadium will be directed onto Nicholson Drive or to River Road. Nicholson Drive will turn into a one-lane roadway southbound until Bluebonnet Boulevard. Nicholson Drive at Bluebonnet Boulevard will return to normal two-way traffic flow going south. Fans who are traveling in the left lane of Nicholson Drive will be directed to turn onto Bluebonnet Boulevard and fans traveling in the right lane of Nicholson Drive will be directed to continue straight (southbound).

Going North
After the game, northbound traffic west of Tiger Stadium will be directed onto Nicholson Drive or to River Road. Northbound traffic east of Tiger Stadium will be directed onto Highland Road.
