Sheldon Lee enters his second year as Video Production Specialist for the LSU Athletics Department. Lee is responsible for producing creative content for LSU’s nationally recognized athletics programs and platforms. Lee oversees video production for Baseball, Women’s Basketball, Track & Field, while also assisting with Football.
In his role, Lee produces a variety of content including television, social media, in-venue video board pieces, mobile app-based content and more. Lee collaborates with communications, social media, marketing and promotions teams to develop digital storytelling, features and messaging.
Lee comes to Baton Rouge after serving as the Social Media Correspondent at the University of Arkansas, in conjunction with Learfield IMG College. In this role, Lee created custom branded social media content in order to drive revenue opportunities for the athletics department. Lee also created non-sponsored digital content for the Razorbacks’ football, baseball, men’s/women’s basketball, volleyball and softball programs.
Lee began his intercollegiate athletics career serving as the Marketing Graduate Assistant at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA. In this role, Lee produced video content, assisted in ticket sales and contributed to game operation efforts for all athletics programs for the Pokes.
Lee is a member of the Strategic Communications Committee for the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA), a professional organization that provides for the exchange of current trends in intercollegiate marketing.
Lee, a native of Orange, TX, is a graduate of Lamar University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing in 2016 and is currently enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program at McNeese State University.
Lee is the son of Ellisa Lee and Cedric Lee, and the brother of Erik Lee.
