Dave Haskin is entering his seventh year at LSU and his fourth year as Associate Athletics Director for Marketing and Broadcast Operations.

An innovative athletics marketing leader, Haskin is responsible for the oversight and coordination of all marketing and broadcast efforts for LSU Athletics. Haskin was hired as Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing in 2018 and has been in his current role since January 2021.

During his time at LSU, Haskin has developed and executed sales strategies leading to increased season ticket sales and numerous single game attendance records. He has also enhanced the overall game day experience and in-venue video production across all LSU sports. Haskin works closely with LSU’s multimedia rights holder, Playfly/LSU Sports Properties, developing corporate sponsorships as well as coordinating product and retail launches with the Fanatics Retail Group to enhance athletics revenue.

He came to LSU from Drake University, where he worked five years as the Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs. While at Drake, he oversaw communications, creative services, equipment, facilities, marketing, and ticket sales.

Prior to Drake he worked at the University of Oklahoma, first as Assistant Director of Marketing (2004-06) and then as Director of Marketing (2006-13). At Oklahoma, he developed marketing and ticket sales strategies for football and men’s and women’s basketball, while directing all game day presentation elements for those sports.

A member of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA), Haskin graduated from St. Olaf College in 2001 with a degree in history. He also received a master’s degree in sport administration from UW-La Crosse in 2004.

He and his wife, April are the parents of a son, Sam and daughter, Emily.
