“I’m a little concerned about Perri right now. She’s had a back injury for about six or seven months now, but she’s a great kid and has some tremendous potential. We just have to find a way to get her healthy and if we can, then I know that she will be a great contributor to the team. Right now, the biggest concern for her is getting her back to 100 percent where she can play competitively in limited or no pain.”

FRESHMAN SEASON (2001-02)
Proved to be a valuable asset for the Lady Tigers at both the No. 6 singles position and the No. 3 doubles spot … Finished the season with a perfect 2-0 record while playing at the No. 5 singles position … Earned a crucial 6-7(5), 6-3, 6-4 Southeastern Conference victory over Mississippi State’s Yumi Ueda on April 5 … Teamed with senior Tami Botts in doubles play and finished the season with an impressive 7-4 record at the No. 3 doubles position … Played a major role in the Lady Tigers’ eighth-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance … Earned her first varsity letter.
