Senior Season (2002)
Played in 105-of-106 games to tie for the team lead … Effective right side hitter for the Tigers … Ranked fifth on the team with 162 kills and third with 59 blocks … Best all-around game came against Auburn … She recorded 11 kills with 10 assists and nine digs and a .333 attacking percentage … It was her first career double-double and she was one dig from a triple-double … Had double figures in kills on three occasions and in digs eight times … Recorded a career-high four service aces against Louisiana Tech … On five occasions had four or more blocks in a match, including a season-best six against Georgia in the SEC Tournament … Received her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology in the Spring of 2003.
Junior Season (2001)
Played in 57 games in 24 matches as one of LSU’s top threats off the bench … Proved she can play both middle blocker and outside hitter effectively … Recorded career-high 12 kills while hitting .417 against New Orleans … Also notched a career-high 10 digs against the Privateers en route to her first career double double … Had the fourth-best blocks per game average on the team at 0.86 … Was brilliant in spot duty in win at Tennessee as she hit for five kills on 10 attempts with no errors and had four blocks … Just missed double-figure kill matches in two of the Tigers first three outings as she recorded nine against both Baylor and New Orleans … Had a career-high nine blocks against Virginia Tech while adding six kills … Hit .300 or better on seven occasions.
Sophomore Season (2000)
Started 15 matches at middle blocker to start the season … Played in 26 matches overall and 69 games … Hit the century mark in kills as she notched 106 … Was fourth on the team with 47 blocks … Recorded a season-high 11 kills on three occasions … Blistered Southeastern Louisiana with 11 kills in just 20 attempts en route to a .500 attack percentage … Had a career-high six blocks against New Orleans in the Sugar Bowl Classic … Notched five blocks against Alabama and Santa Clara … Came off the bench to record a career-high eight digs in final match of the season against Houston.
Freshman Season (1999)
Competed in 20 games in 10 different matches … Started match against Loyola-Chicago in the Houston Invitational … Saw action in two conference matches, against Florida and Arkansas … Had 20 kills on the year, recording a season-high three kills on three separate occasions … Recorded seven blocks.
Redshirt Season (1998)
As a walk-on, she redshirted the season.
High School
A two-time District 6-3A MVP, she led Parkview Baptist to the district title with a 10-0 record in league matches her senior season … Received All-State and All-State Tournament honors after advancing to the state semifinals in 1997 … Recorded 336 kills, 168 digs, 55 blocks and 31 aces her senior year … Was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball and basketball.
