Junior Season (1999) Competed in 19 games in 11 matches before tearing her anterior cruciate ligament … Had 43 kills while hitting .282 when she went down … Recorded double-digit kills twice, including career-high 11 kills against Temple while hitting .526 (11kills-1error/19attempts) in the match.
Sophomore Season (1998) Played in a 60 games in a total of 26 matches … Doubled previous career high with four service aces in match against South Carolina … Had season-high eight digs twice, both against Southeastern Conference opponents.
Freshman Season (1997) Saw playing time in every match in her first season with the Tigers…Recorded double-digit digs in seven matches, including a career-high 19 vs. New Orleans in her second collegiate match … Her .545 hitting percentage (7-1/11) against Louisiana Tech was the highest single-match percentage on the squad in 1997.
High School Earned first team All-District, second team All-Greater Houston honors her senior year…Was selected to the 1997 Scholar Athlete World Games…In her junior season, she was named District 23-4A MVP, leading Lamar Consolidated to the 1995 district title…Lettered three times in volleyball and four times in tennis at the number one singles and doubles positions…Was nominated for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award…Member of the National Honor Society, a student council representative, and graduated in the top five percent of her class.
