Kevin Inlow Season 2024
Kevin Inlow joined the LSU Volleyball staff as an assistant coach on Jan. 12, 2022.
During his tenure with the program, Inlow has assisted in the development of four student-athletes who have received AVCA All-Region accolades, including Anita Anwusi (2022), Sanaa Dotson (2022), Ella Larkin (2022) and Jurnee Robinson who was tabbed the 2023 AVCA South Region Freshman of the Year.
In 2023, LSU finished with an 11-17 overall record. Inlow played a critical role in coaching middle blocker Anita Anwusi who turned in one of her most productive offensive seasons of her career with a team-high .335 hitting percentage (No. 7 in the SEC) behind 201 kills and added 15 aces. Anwusi also led the team with 88 blocks on the year, and concluded her career ranked No. 9 all-time at LSU with 434 blocks and No. 10 all-time with a .296 career hitting percentage.
In the 2022 season, Inlow’s first season with the Tigers, LSU finished with a 16-14 record, including a 9-9 SEC record that featured two Top 25 victories against No. 20 Arkansas (Sept. 21) and No. 15 Kentucky (Sept. 24). It was the volleyball program’s first winning season since 2019 which led to LSU’s first at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament since 2017. The Fighting Tigers also won its first NCAA Tournament match since 2014 with a 3-1 decision over No. 8 seed Hawai’i in Stanford, Calif. (Dec. 2) in the first round.
Inlow helped produce three student-athletes who received AVCA All-Region accolades. Outside hitter Sanaa Dotson and libero Ella Larkin was tabbed to the 2022 AVCA South All-Region team, and middle blocker Anita Anwusi was named AVCA South All-Region Honorable Mention.
Off the court, five Tigers have been tabbed to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team (formally known as CoSIDA), including Erin Carmichael (2023), Jade Demps (2023), Jill Bohnet (2022), Paige Flickinger (2022) and Josie Vondran (2022).
Inlow was previously the lead assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the University of North Florida (UNF) for four seasons. In that time span, Inlow helped guide UNF to four ASUN Championship appearances, including consecutive ASUN Championship Semifinals appearances.
In 2021 the Ospreys earned a trip to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) for the first time in school history as the team posted a 25-8 overall record, marking the winningest season in the program’s history as a Division I program. Inlow coached 10 all-conference selections, including four in 2021 and highlighted by consecutive ASUN Defensive Player of the Year honors for Rocio Moro.
Prior to joining the staff at North Florida, Inlow spent six years as the manager and graduate assistant for the University of Texas volleyball team. With the Longhorns, Inlow was part of five NCAA Final Four appearances and three NCAA Finals. Inlow also served as an assistant coach with the USA Volleyball Junior National Team where they won gold in the Pan American Cup U20 event. He was also a volunteer for the women’s national team in 2015.
