Competed in five of the Lady Tigers’ six races in 2007 … Steadily progressed as the season went on and ran a season-best 6K time of 23:28.7 at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships … Was just off that pace with a 23:43.8 showing at the Chile Pepper Festival … Turned in her top 5K time of the year at the Tiger Invitational (19:12.51).

PRIOR TO LSU
Ran cross country for head coach Gabi Hauck at the Savannah College of Art and Design during her freshman season … Team placed 12th at the NAIA National Cross Country Championships in 2005.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered four years in cross country and track and field under head coach Tori Helmer at Colonial Forge High School … Was her school’s nominee for the Wendy’s Heisman Award during her senior season … Named Senior Girl’s Athlete of the Year of her high school … Earned three all-region, all-area and all-district selections in cross country during her high school career … Also earned three all-district honors on the track … Was the Free Lance All-Area Athlete of the Year as a senior … Was also a two-time all-district performer on the soccer field for head coach Lauren Henn.
